Used to love watching some of the old horror and seemed lot of Hammer horror movies.  Saturday early afternoon. Used to have a local based .. (ran on Detroit MI station.)  Sir Graves Chastly ... Very cheesy host.. Yet good fun.

Can't think of name of it. One that always kind of weirded me out. Had Peter Cushing in it, maybe Christopher Lee as well.
Some kind of lab experiment gone wrong. Created this things on an island, that sucked the bones out of people. They even had a few drop down out of trees onto them.
Think they were also attacking local cattle or sheep as well. The animals or people, just being found flattened out.

Any one able to come up with that one?? Sure it was probably island of something or other.  OF course classic ending. Since the creatures could divide, and make more of themselves. It was fortunate, they happened on an island, small population. Switch to lab larger community. YEP  looks like same accident happening. with the closing of.. the end??

Emmett .. thanks for helping put me into the old horror movie mindset there...

I like this topic, but it's a hard choice. Hmmm, Adventure movies, Any of the Raiders of the Lost Ark movies, the Superman movies, most John Wayne movies, the Star Wars series, Casablanca,.....

LOL. Alright I give! I love most good movies (just don't have the time to watch them).

I surrender!

John Wayne movies .....  Just quick heads up ... Depends on your likes. They have just started releasing a bunch of early movies of his again.
Ones that have never been on video or dvd far as I know.
I just got a bunch, through place called movies unlimited.  They are on the web ..... out of Pennsylvania think it is.
Anyways they have a large amount listed, decent prices.
ALSO listing 2 or 3 more.. to be released next month or two.  They have 8 titles in a series, with him playing same character.

They also do list a lot of older or hard to find titles. Like the George Washington mini-series, with Barry Bostwick I like.

Those John Wayne movies, are they the his old B Westerns from the 1930's? I always thought that those old Westerns were his best. I also like Clint Eastwood,Lee Marvin & Charles Bronson.

Yes these are from late 30's early 40's.

LEXI which version of Island of doctor Moreau??  That one kind of like Mysterious island, and Journey to the Center of the Earth. All seem to get regular re-makes done of them.

Hmmmmm No answers so far on latest quotes ....  Not seeing Marci, MaryD or Laurie Breeze  giving guesses yet. Main ladies seeming to play along...

YET had to toss this in .. sure Marci would get this in a heartbeat .... Probably Mary and Laurie also ..

Then one day, I was just walking down the street when I heard a voice behind me say, "Reach for it, mister!" I spun around... and there I was, face to face with a six-year old kid. Well, I just threw my guns down and walked away.
Little bastard shot me in the ass.

Just love the set up, then BAM !!  LOL

Marci .. GREAT job you got 3 out of 4 .... Will give it a bit, see if anyone can guess last quote .. It is from a very well known movie.

The lovely Cashley Ashley.. has made the scene... leaving links for 2 of her faves ....  Translated .. The original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory .. As well as Alice in Wonderland.. the live action, Johhny Depp version .. Thanks for adding in Ashley.

MEGAN ...  looking like some action movie titles ...  Just curious ... did you ever add in Sucker Punch to this thread??
ALWAYS nice seeing you add in!!

THAT was the one and only MEGAN-TASTIC that added in with the Exorcist ....  The original Halloween.. THAT also just classic. From the mood settings, to music.
Happened to see it BIG screen again. Kind of a Halloween fright fest, local theater. EVEN as many times, as I have seen it. BACK on the big screen, and in loud stereo. Still managed to activate that GOTCHA reflex now and then.

STAR TREK  Dark ... NEW one... saw it saturday.. OHhhhhhhhh my .. Not bad, lot of action, and plots going on. Another who can you trust/ who is good guy or bad guy.
YET with out giving to much away. Figure LOT of the die hard, I speak Klingonese fans. Will HATE this.. simply from the fact. It one, totaly screws with some events, that happen in Original Star Trek movies.
It parallels a CLASSIC scene ... while doing a role reversal.
IT also gives linguistic skills, to one of the characters. That she does NOT have later. Again in one of the original Star Trek movies. There they have her having to use help books, to get it done.

These just few things I was able to notice. So am sure more that I did not.

Soooooooo in itself, an entertaining entry, and movie in the franchise. Yet again, for those die hard.. you HAVE to do it this way Star Trek fans.. I am sure raising issues, with their known facts and issues of franchise history.

May not be exactly on topic.. Yet since someone brought her up... LOVE Michelle Rodriguez....  PLays a hot chick or bad girl wonderfully. Sexy, with the looks and moves.
YET seems her mortality rate in films, is usually not that good.

Think last Resident Evil movie, they had her die 2 or 3 times.. clones ... Bloodrayne.. killed ..  Resident Evil original think it is killed.
Avatar fighter ship shot down ... Those just off the top of my head ...

OK in case I missed this one ... WILLOW ...    Disgusting, you're crawling with Brownies!!   He he he

OK

Here is a quote for you to play with... Helps you name another fave movie if you guess which one it is from.

"What I want from each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse in that area."

Anyone guess it??
