"The Revenant" is one of those movies that is so freaking good it simultaneously makes you feel small and inspires you to be better.

Interesting take. Maybe I need to watch it.

"The Revenant" is like a hot fudge sundae topped with peanuts, whipped cream and a hyper-realistic bear attack.

Leo is great, but Tom Hardy steals the show. Any pro-style cyber-wrestlers here looking to pick up some new "heel" techniques, need only to study his performance.

Quite a different review..lol

Anyways..

Deadpool

Just Deadpool

OK ANYONE seeing Captain America Civil War this weekend ..

SOUND off here .. Give us some feedback!! Your review thumbs up or thumbs down!!

What about movie soundtrack song tag??

I will start you off with an easy one. It does NOT have to be main title song, just well known from a soundtrack.
No Easy Way Out

You guess or name the right movie.
You get to leave the next soundtrack teaser ....

Will give a hint, soundtrack song was from a sports movie. Played during scene. As main character seeing flashbacks. While racing his car, through some non city streets.

I'll post a list later but one of my most favorite B-rated horror/action movies I loved as a kid and to this day is this movie called "Dog Soldiers".
I saw it on the Syfy channel many times and once in a great while they'll show it on TV.

It's about a squad of British Soldiers on a training mission against SAS Special Forces. A day or so in they find the SAS base camp but it's all fucked up with real weapons and live ammunition strewn about. Later on they find out that their up against Werewolves

Great movie with decent acting.
A lot of blood and gore.
Lots of action.

Check it out when you can.
"The Lion and Tiger may be more powerful but the Wolf does not perform in a Circus."

ALWAYS back the Blue

INDEPENDANCE DAY RESURGANCE ...

The sequal ...   now in theaters ...  Happened to see it last weekend ..
Special effects are very good. They help keep the movie going.
Yet have to be honest .. part of it is very predictable ...

Will Smith not part of it .. Have to admit .. not a major issue for me.
Since they do have a character as his son.
I do not care for what they did with Vivaca Fox's character. Trying to show a emotional moment.
Yet just seemed like they snuck her in to say they had her.
Wish they would have come up with something better and longer in the sequal for her.

Also kind of spoiler point or maybe not ..
It does seem, like they rip of Aliens mother queen idea ... To a degree ...

It was an interesting way to enjoy some mindless fun for awhile. Still do not think it was as daring, as the original.
PLUS YES ... Left open for the third installment to happen ..

CONJURING 2 ..

OK time to get your SPOOKY FREAKYNESS on ..

Opens with Amityville setting/ story .. Like first one did with Annabelle.
Basically If you put together the Exorcist and Amityville Horror .. Maybe a dash of Poltergeist.  You get this movie ...  LOT of INTENSE moments and scares.
They do a good job of leading you in .. and DAMN just when you think you know how it is going to happen. They still freak, and creep you out.

Scene at the Warrens with the dark, evil demon nun thing ...  Let's just say sit close ... and bring extra underwear/ clean panties for this one ..
You know it is going to happen .. yet not the way they bring it ... More than once during this.
Good for a few of the goosebumps and hee be jeebies   ;D

As before based on actual case files ...
Not to be seen with a crooked man or dark garbed nun .. Just saying!!
