My site is a Canadian site but do you believe I should price in US currency?

Speaking as another Canadian, it's likely best to do your pricing in USD which is much more widely used than ours. Most of your clients will be from the USA.... and virtually everyone else understands the conversion from their own currency to USD.

As well, if you use a Paypal account, selling in USD and receiving payment in CDN can be easily set up.

Good luck!

As an otherwise worldly US expat currently living in a bungalow in Vatican City, I confess I was heretofore unaware that Canada even had its own currency.

I had always assumed that whatever business  is conducted in Canada is transacted through US Dollars, beaver pelts or Tim Horton gift cards.
