Review: ECC84-Hollie vs Maggie
« on: August 17, 2013, 08:07:03 PM »

Please Note:  This message was first sent to the ECC Yahoo Group, but like a few other of my messages, never made it past the moderator.  So I am posting it here.

Hollie vs Maggie Review

Nice little fight here that I bought!  Good intensity. I was somewhat disappointed that there was mutual respect between the fighters. For me, I much prefer more emotions and dislike, but that's just me.

Picture quality is just plain dreadful.  ECC seems to be going backwards in this regard.  While DWW and others went to HD widescreen 6 or 7 years ago, the ECC picture is actually GETTING SMALLER and fuzzier.

When you try to make the screen bigger the quality further suffers, and you are watching "fighting through cheesecloth."

I refuse to purchase another ECC fight until the picture quality improves.

That's far from truthful. The video is not the clearest on the market, but is quite clear and certainly better than some older ECC videos. What producer would publish that in their group? Seems like a total hatchet job by a rival producer that wrote that crap.

I haven't seen Hollie vs Maggie so I can't comment on that fight specifically. But I've seen ten of the last twelve ECC releases, and none of them have a smaller picture size than any of the earlier downloads.

Some fights are held back a lot longer than others before release. I know that because I read about them being filmed at the yahoo group. Those filmed more recently though, like Michelle vs Valentina, for example, have noticably better picture quality than the older fights, so I really don't know where you are coming from with this.

Mr. Rin sent my group a posting eight months ago that had multiple suggestions about how I should do my videos. I posted most of it (about 3/4s). Two of his "suggestions" I didn't post. One could have possibly cost my videographer at the time to lose his job. The other "suggestion" would have humiliated the ladies I film. I explained to Rin why I wouldn't cause possible harm to these friends/employees, but he couldn't care less. He made some vague threat concerning my "censoring". In addition, he got mad after I refused to give him information about Pandora that I made clear was a privacy issue. He had to know at least some if not all of his writing would be rejected, and he could then charge me with censoring. I believe that was his intention from the start, and the reason for his latest very negative posting. That posting is a similar situation, but unique in that a threat was included in the post script, a threat "he told me" to delete if I posted the rest of his message. One could call it sort of a self censoring by Rin. That posting which is still in the pending folder of my group is the same that appeared at the start of this thread. I wanted my moderator to read it, he is ECC_moderator (it's not me).

I own many ECC videos. Their first videos had a resolution of 320 x 240, which later improved to 480 x 360. Their most recent videos, including the Hollie vs Maggie match, have a 640 x 480 resolution. Before Catz Review began making their videos available in HD (1440 x 1080), many of their videos were released in 640 x 480.

So, the quality of ECC videos has actually improved over time. To quote the late Senator Moynihan, "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts."

All he asked was an upgrade in filming equipment or maybe a better way to download the purchased content.

I attended a recent ECC fight near Rutgers University. John, the producer,  invited me because I live close to him, and have been a good customer for over 5 yrs. He has always responded to my questions in a positive way, and I know he treats people who work for him very well. I know it because I've seen it.  I believe it when he says he was protecting Pandora's privacy.  I think Rin753's comments are so extremely negative that they shouldn't be taken seriously. I bought the Hollie and Maggie video, it's a great fight and plenty clear to watch over and over.

This seems to be an honest, thoughtful response to the question. I appreciate Angrmgmt giving exact numbers and pointing out the improvement.  A cooler, more intelligent head has given facts devoid of anger.

Foxy Combat and Fighting Dolls are giving fans the video quality they are now expecting. ECC got some feedback and seems to be offended, or his minions are offended.

Seriously, go to the Fighting Dolls and Foxy Combat sites and let your eyes do the work for you. If ECC wants to keep up, that's the new standard.

What is unfair about your comparison is the ECC video you chose is much older. Again, read Angrmgmt's facts,  ECC has improved quite a bit since that old video.  Why are you such a hater? Are you part of the old feud we've listened to for months?

I just appreciate real matches. The videos aren't Hollywood quality, but ECNWC and ECC are what I like and buy.  Healthy competition is good for all, and when the videos improve it should be acknowledged.

I've read through all the posts on this topic since my first entry and to summarize:

I bought the video and thought the quality was quite poor.  Shana and Walker have seen the video and think the quality is just fine.  So customers can make their judgements accordingly.

Braandpanties (I love that name!) is on my side and doesn't like the ECC picture quality and posted some youtubes to prove the point.  That's not quite fair because repeated bootlegging on yahoo can really degrade video quality.

Angermanagement offered insight into ECC video resolution and how it has improved.  However, the Hollie/Maggie video DOES NOT, I repeat, DOES NOT fill the screen (a smallish picture in the middle) so it renders resolution irrelvant.

Lastly, some garbage was mentioned about me trying to gain personal information about one of the ECC fighters from the ECC owner, John.  This is completely and totally false. Completely and totally.  John has always impressed me as a stand-up guy so I can only assume he is mistaking me for someone else.  My hope is that he will restore my good name.

You have eleven posts now, all attacks on the same producer and you only created this account yesterday!

Take those panties off your head and behave yourself.

This an obvious hatchet job by someone with a grudge and everybody can see it for what it is.
