One lowlife guy on a computer.
« on: August 18, 2013, 11:59:12 PM »
Isn't it something how one lowlife guy on a computer can cause a catfight company so much trouble. Just say something so strongly that some  readers might think it's true. The truth is he's probably just one lowlife guy who gets his rocks off hurting others.

Um when you made this topic did you think of explaining what was going on?

The guy suggested a producer upgrade his camera equipment. The reaction was a little outlandish.

In not Rin idiot. Maybe I will start posting all of east coast cats or wrestling stuff from YouTube on here and people can see how crappy the video quality is. You are not doing this producer any favors acting this way.

I don't get the logic here. One individual calls another out, and that one  then threatens to damage a producer? There's a tad too much anger around here. What's next,  we slander all the producers, put them out of business and we go elsewhere on our computers?

I purchased several ECC videos, I don't think the video quality is crappy. Perhaps I'm wrong, can you name a few others that offer real fights that are better quality videos? I'm sure there are a few, but how many?  I enjoy several companies products, I just don't know why you'd single out one with so much venom.

I recently watched two videos, and both were great fights. Hollie and Jemma at ECNWC, and Hollie and Maggie at ECC.  I saw little or no difference in the clarity of the two, but each had their advantages. I like the multi angles of two cameras at ECNWC, but the video was far jumpier than the ECC video. There are better chances to get close ups with more than one camera, but often it was annoying how the camera guys at ECNWC got in the way of the action.  Nevertheless, both videos are super because the women are really fighting unlike many other companies.

For fairness sake you could check as I just did how old the ECC video is that you selected. Released in Oct. 2010, and probably filmed many months previous to that date. ECC's producer hired a new videographer last year. Perhaps you could make a better argument if you compared ones filmed about the same time.  Seriously, be fair in your arguments, and read Angrmgmt's facts.

Wow, Devious Stevious, you must be wearing those braandpanties over your head, mate!

Do you really think that anybody is going to take this hatchet job seriously?
You only created this latest account yesterday. Eleven posts already, and every one teeing off on the same producer.
Hollie vs Maggy has really got you rattled. It must be one hell of a fight. Maybe I'll buy it myself after all.

What the hell do you think this bullshit proves?

Any idiot knows that the way a video looks after being uploaded to youtube is no indication of the picture quality of the orignal. There are so many variables involved it's untrue.

Here are the facts, posted by another, more objective member, who doesn't have a grudge against ECC.

I own many ECC videos. Their first videos had a resolution of 320 x 240, which later improved to 480 x 360. Their most recent videos, including the Hollie vs Maggie match, have a 640 x 480 resolution. Before Catz Review began making their videos available in HD (1440 x 1080), many of their videos were released in 640 x 480.

So, the quality of ECC videos has actually improved over time. To quote the late Senator Moynihan, "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts."

I checked the picture resolution of some of the ECC videos in my collection, with the same result as angmngmt.

ECC do not sell HD downloads at the moment, though hopefully, they will be doing so soon. Meantime, the downloads they do sell are clear and watchable, with those filmed more recently having higher picture resolution than the older material.
If anybody is thinking of buying any of those older fights, I recommend getting them on DVD. The picture resolution of the DVDs I own is 720 x 480, which is pretty good, and they are all old fights, ECC#43 being the most recent.
Also, if you buy the DVDs three at a time, they are cheaper than the downloads, even allowing for shipping charges outside the USA - I live in the UK myself. And though it doesn't say so at the site, you can pay through Paypal. Email the distributor and he will tell you how.
