Anne Hathaway was forced into this fight with Emily Blunt by little Elisha Cuthbert.
They walked to the ring together along with Gisele Bundchen who was also in Devil wears Prada.
“Ok so you two ladies are going to have a fair match of skills vs skills. Slaps are allowed but no punches or hairpulling. If there is a breast grab the woman grabbed then you release right away and allow the other to equal the attack. If there is repeated breast grabs it is a dq. If there is an attack in the crotch it is a DQ, if you are in the ropes you have five seconds before you need to separate. Victory can only be achieved through pinfall or submission.”
“I think it’s going to be a great battle I’m not afraid of losing to you.” Anne said as she put out her hand.
“I feel the same; losing to you is nothing to be ashamed of. Good luck my friend”
They backed up to their corners and did some stretches both in their tight work out gear. They got to the center of the ring and circled a little unsure how to start this afterall they were only fighting because it was request from Elisha Cuthbert.
They continued to circle neither really wanted to fight the other which was why they set so many rules. They slapped at each other’s hands a couple times and Emily shot forward and took Anne down with ease, she pinned Anne down and almost got the three but Anne kicked out just before Gisele hand hit the mat the third time.
They got up and backed away and gave each other a polite nod then went back to the middle and shook hands. Backing away they took a breath and stepped forward and locked up collar and elbow. Anne threw Emilys arms down by the side and grabbed her by the waist.
She tried to Greco throw the English woman but it was blocked and Emily grabbed her by the wrists and broke the grip. She immediately dropped to a knee and sweeped Anne’s leg up with her right arm taking the American Oscar winner down. She immediately grabbed at Anne’s leg and tried to lock in a kneebar submission. Anne kicked her other leg over and escaped the hold and locked in a neck crank.
Emily rolled onto her belly and slipped out and both women got up to their feet and traded a slap then smiled. They circled around the ring doing feints for a take down or slap. Anne showed a leg kick which backed Emily up. Emily looked kind of frightened right now and Anne smiled she saw that look on Heigl’s face so she went forward and ended up getting hit with a spinning heel kick to the stomach that dropped her.
Emily went at Anne’s feet and lifted one leg up and went to lock in an ankle lock but Anne lunged for the ropes and Emily let go. Emily backed away and Anne got up feeling fear but she swallowed it and walked back to the middle of the ring where Emily slapped her. She went to slap Emily back but it was blocked and she got hit with another slap and then Emily dropped down and grabbed the back of Anne’s legs and lifted them up taking Anne down once again.
Emily tried to turn Anne over for a Boston Crab but Anne fought it with all her leg power. She ended up twisting to her right to stop the flip over and then quickly twisted sending Emily into the middle ropes.
She knew Emily was as good as her but so far she was being dominated and that was not cool. She wanted to start ripping at Emily’s flesh but fought back the urge and allowed Emily up.
They slowly circled and Emily dove for Anne’s legs but this time Anne completely dodged it when Emily got up she got hit with a left handed slap then a right and finally Anne ducked down and did a power double leg. Anne jumped to Emily’s side and slapped the ear.
Anne tried to step over Emily but Emily pushed her body away then got up on her hip. Anne brought her body away from Emily and both women got up on their knees and locked in mutual bearhugs which didn’t last long as Anne was stronger and bigger and slammed Emily down
Gisele counted but Emily got her shoulder up on the one count. Anne moved and went to Emilys side where she hit some knees to Emily’s side. She went to mount Emily but failed in her second attempt as Emily raised a knee then slid out from the bottom. Emily got up as did Anne who rushed for another takedown.
Emily sidestepped and tripped Anne then quickly dropped an elbow to Anne’s back. Emily sat on Annes back and grabbed a single leg trapping it then leaned back getting a loud scream from Anne who desperately reached for the ropes and just as Emily sat back further she luckily got to the ropes.
Emily broke the hold and allowed Anne back up right now Emily was intent on working that leg. She was staring at it as Anne got up and limped around the ring
“Anne can you continue”
“Yes of course.”
Anne turned and walked toward Emily and got kicked in the leg putting her back down. Emily dropped down and tried to lock in a guillotine choke but Anne grabbed at both forearms stopping them. She suddenly let go and got her arms around Emily’s ribs and stood up bringing Emily up as well.
She pushed forward bouncing Emily off the ropes and then lifting her up and hitting a spinebuster. Jumping over quick for a pin she got a two count
Emily turned and tried to do the same move to Anne that Anne had just done to her. Anne sensed it and got her left arm under Emily’s right and she fell to her back. Gisele was about to count when Anne turned on her hip and Gisele’s eyes went wide. Anne allowed the take down
Anne set Emily up for a submission move and it was in tight
“My god” Gisele said
Anne moved towards Emily’s feet hoping for the tapout but the D’Arce Choke was locked in.
Gisele lifted one of Emily’s arms and it dropped limp “She out.”
Anne let go right away and got up on her knees she stayed there until Emily woke up and the two friends hugged and congratulated each other on the battle
