Sigourney Weaver watched as all the winners took their seats “Great fights ladies you really brought it and showed we are more than a massacre house of masochistic love which was the prison card. Yet then again it was a card of rematches so we knew it would be brutal this card we believed would be a technical battle with some solid fights between equal women and we were right even with the two fights selected by two women who more than any other absolutely brutalized the other. They gave us a great fight and then two more beautiful fights.”
Sigourney clapped for each woman “Just amazing, honestly ladies great job. So let’s get to this, two questions for each lady.”
Reporter “Ashley you were confident before the fight but you ran away after you won why?”
Ashley “Why stay, I won I knew I’d beat her everyone knew I would beat her and my running away was simply because I was running into the future of my awesomeness.”
Reporter “Tracy said you beat her that time and she will have trouble moving on… if she comes at your for a rematch do you give it?”
Ashley “Who knows I think I need to move forward I’m hating myself for my lone loss and think I’m a top level under 30 fighter and I’ve considered challenging Janet there but who knows I doubt Tracy would challenge me anytime soon.”
Sigourney “According to the odds makers they made Ashley a slight favorite but the odds on that fight pretty well changed every day.”
Reporter “Adrianne some would say you lost What do you say to them?”
“That I’m here right now talking to you, I won the fight I spanked her ass. Fact is I won and you all have to face it.”
Reporter “Are you upset because she kicked your ass?”
Adrianne “She didn’t kick my ass I spanked hers, end of story and maybe seeing both our histories of playing tough girl roles and both being in a GI Joe movie… I know Rachel Nichols will be at the after party and maybe on a WBACCF card we should face off. She is a greater challenge then what Aly is and that will prove I’m not someone who fears anyone and Aly may have been tougher than I thought but she’s no Rachel Nichols”
Sigourney “According to the oddsmakers they had this fight very close in fact it was the closest fight with Aly a slight favorite to pull out the win”
Reporter “Mary, you jumped Maria before the fight began. Do you still feel proud to win the fight?”
Mary “Do I feel bad about jumping Maria as I did, of course but do I care; No. She got involved in a fight between myself and Blake Lively. This was what she deserved and the two of us have moved on already.”
Reporter “so you didn’t jump here because it was the only chance you had in the fight?”
Mary “Think what you want to think, I want to fight Blake Lively again. It’s all I want, Blake knows she can beat a lot of people but can’t beat me. She can bring every dirty trick in the book and I’ll show her some more. I proved tonight I’m willing to do what is necessary to get a win when it’s something I feel strongly about. My disdain for Blake Lively is why I did what I did and I’m not going to apologize for it, I don’t care if it was my only chance of beating Maria. This isn’t about Maria, it’s about Blake. It’s about putting Blake in her place. She beat Katie Holmes (Anne Hathaway said at the moment “Like that was hard” Mary kept going despite some laughs from the crowd.) Blake I don’t care who you beat how strong you look, how you dress where you go who you marry. I don’t care what roles you get over me I’m going to fight you again and I’m going to hurt you.”
Sigourney “Fact is this was a upset according to the oddsmakers, not the biggest upset but still an upset. Maria was a comfortable favorite to win this fight.”
Reporter “Well that was something; no one would expect that talk from Mary. Janet you were a underdog according to the odds makers in your fight. What was more surprising that they made you an underdog or that Aubrey had been getting the best of you for so long?”
Janet “This isn’t meant as a slight but give me a moment to think on how to answer this. The two go hand in hand, Aubrey I knew was the most dangerous match up for me. The fact she had more offence then I did during the fight probably means the oddsmakers were right. I knew all along Aubrey and I would have a great fight, I thought we were equal at wrestling and hairpulling. I knew I was stronger a few years ago when we first met but I wasn’t drastically stronger so I knew that would be closer. We were close in everything but endurance. Some might say having a ref who wanted a clean fight favored me but I think if it got nasty it would have gotten real nasty and the winner probably wouldn’t be here.”
Reporter “It sounds like you have a lot of respect for Aubrey; they said you had five names to choose from and Aubrey was one. What can you say of the names and what you thought of each?”
Janet laughed “I know where you want me to go with this and yes I have the utmost respect for Aubrey and that was an actress, a peer she is simply wonderful. She earned my respect in physical combat and she had it before but now she most definitely earned it. Jamie Chung I didn’t know much about someone told me she’s into martial arts and that interested me in the fight but really she isn’t into that but probably a good fight. Camilla Luddington, well we never met but she was literally sending rumors all around England that she’d put me in my place. She’s mean in a fight and there’s no way you’d see skills with us for very long it was a fight I kind of wanted to take on someone who was also making her WBACCF debut. I know who Sigourney wanted me to fight and it was someone I was ready to fight, it would have been a battle it would have been a war I think. Skills-Even, Body-Even she and I are tough both got a tonne of cardio and Lyndsy Fonseca was who I was debating with her or Aubrey. There was another name that came in after Rachel Bilson named Aubrey and that was Leighton Meester and I laughed at that then I found out she’s won more than she’s lost but it didn’t matter anyway. Then theres the cowardice red headed bitch Rose Leslie, she puts into fight me and I call our mutual agent and asked if this was legit. We were called into the office and argued the entire time. You couldn’t put a piece of paper between us we were in each other’s faces. I got home ready to sign the paper to fight Rose and shut that red headed big mouth up once and for all and it was rescinded. I was pissed and before I flew here for this fight she and I saw each other. She claimed I feared her and begged the agency to pull back the offer and I said it was she who feared me. It was heated we both wanted to tear into each other and our shirts were off. I wanted to kill her she wanted to kill me but let me tell you this right now and Rose I hope your listening, I get voted fight of the night you will fight on the next card of that I promise you. Not me but against someone who I hope you beat so when we fight you’ll know how sweet victory is. It’ll make putting you down like the bitch dog you are more satisfying because Rose listen close, you are not Lyndsy Fonseca and you damn sure don’t hold a candle to Aubrey. I feel without a doubt Aubrey Plaza is a far greater challenge then Rose Leslie.”
Sigourney “Wow that is some legit hate Janet, no offence but it won’t happen here we had that kind of hate with Kreuk and Tal and I don’t need to see two equally matched beauties destroy the other again. You by the way were the biggest underdog going into this fight. Aubrey at points was a near 3/1 favorite over you. It got to a more reasonable number but still you were a huge underdog congrats”
Janet muttered “Rose is not my equal”
Reporter “Ok Sara, you got a nasty shiner does that mean Nikki earned your respect?”
Sara “Hum oh yeah she did. She was strong tough and brought it. I wasn’t expecting it and even if I was she’d land shots. I’m glad I was her first fight because with a bit of experience she could be a tough beat for me or anyone.”
Reporter “So Sara you like to say you are the best but I mean we’ve all seen Kelly Monaco and all have felt Kendra Wilkinson is up there as well. Plus Jennifer Walcott who beat Kelly, in and let me tell you as a person who witnessed that fight. IT was amazing Kelly had her best fight, Jennifer had her best fight and they had the greatest fight I ever watched. Yet you say you’re the best do you really believe that?”
Sara “to counteract your long windedness… yes I’m better then all three and the only one close is Walcott but I don’t consider her as close because all she had was her playmate status. No movies, no reality shows no nothing other than Playmate. She is gorgeous, she is strong but she isn’t me. I’m Sara Jean Underwood, remember that next time you see Monaco or my friend Kendra.”
Sigourney “Sara was a favorite behind the scenes, she was a favorite by the experts and she won the fight”
Reporter “Anne, you used a MMA sub vs Emily’s pro wrestling subs, is that why people say you have a better understanding then most your size?”
Anne “I don’t know but I do know I seen my division have brutal hard hitting fights ending in multiple knock outs. I got the chance for the sub and took it. Emily is a smart woman but I got lucky and sunk it in and got the win.”
Reporter “What’s next for you? You made fun of Katie Holmes and have done so often is that next”
Anne “I think I earned the right to fight only women on a similar level of fame as me so I’ll continue that. I go in all fights with a gameplan and have one for the women I think are on the same level as me. In saying that Katie is beneath me, I made fun of her because that’s all people like me should do when Katie is brought up.”
Sigourney “Anne was the biggest favorite of the night tied actually with Aubrey Plaza… Guess the oddsmakers don’t think much of the English. So we are going back to you the viewers (Readers) picking fight of the night. The woman who won the fight for this award picks a fight in the next card.”
