Dark moods. The atmosphere resembles the movie "Saw". But the fights are cool. Thanx.

Layla:

First of all, thanks for the post.
My feelings on this are mixed.  The women were all perfect for a cat fight.  Great bodies, athletic and sexy.  I thought the clothing was great too.  The low cut tops that showed cleavage and sweats.  You know a chick has a great body when she looks good in sweats.
At first, the idea of two women fighting in a pit-like setting is incredibly hot, but having them fight to the death was just a bit too much for me.  This would definitely NOT be a movie I would take my wife to in order to get her interested in cat fights!

loved it, but have to agree...to get your woman/gf closer to catfighting, this is not that a good start. but the fighting pit idea is great, what a shame there no catfight in it
I wish each and every day would start with a catfight in my flat

I agree with my fellow commentators that the ladies are beautiful, and the fights are well staged. Under any other circumstances I would have appreciated the effort.  Unfortunately, as others also wrote, the "forced to fight" aspect really lowered my enjoyment of this.  It is one thing to have two combatants face off of their own violation, even with extreme consequences.  The idea of the fight taking place in front of an audience does add excitement to the whole idea. The fact that everyone of the fighters would have  "rather to be in Philadelphia" covered the whole thing with a light coating of sleaze.  The whole thing went right into the shitter when the one blonde fighter made a remark about the other fighter's daughter.  from that point onward I felt really filthy.  I enjoy seeing FvF matches, and take MvM matches, but as willing participants.  There was a women's fighting movie out a few years ago with the story line that a single mom entered the private fight game to earn money to support her partially deaf daughter.  She made the choice to use the fight route to earn cash. There is no fun in this for me if one of the contestants is in the ring against his or her will.  That is not a contest it is twisted.

But setting that aside for a moment, I do give props to the folks that produced this film.  They had guts to take on this subject.  I would like to know if the film made back its production costs.

The bloody fighting to the death part really puts me off.  That being said I have no problem with the women being forced to fight or even if they had to fight to save their kids. It's a fictitious story after all, it doesn't have to be PC in order to be erotic and sexy.   In fact I think it's sexy as hell to have a story line where hot women are forced to fight - just not to the death   With regards to their outfits, I would've preferred the women wore high cut booty shorts or panties without any fist punching, eye-gouging or suffocation.  As always there could've been a lot more breast/crotch grabbing.

As with the other comments, the "fight to the death" requirement is a bit much for me.  Having said that, there is something very arousing about two women being forced to fight, with more at stake than simply fighting because someone talked sh#t about someone else.

For years I (and I bet a good many of you also) have fantasized about someone doing a movie about NHB fights between women.  How many of us have complained about movie fights, where the cut-aways ruined the fights, or someone, usually a man, broke the fights up?  I think the thing about this movie is, it came along about 10 years too late.

Today most movie and TV catfights consist of women using various MMA tactics against each other rather than the "old" style catfight moves like hair pulling, body-to-body roll arounds, etc.  The women today fight more like men than women.  Check out some of the videos on the internet video sites that feature fights between high school girls, or street fights.  More likely than not, you'll hear someone in the crowd chastising the girls to stop pulling hair.  Are you kidding??  To me, hair pulling is a real turn-on when seeing girls fight.  I say, let the girls fight like girls, and pulling each other's hair is part of it.

So, all in all, I enjoyed the fights in Raze, despite the over-the-top gore, and fighting to the death.  I would have done it differently, but I'm not a film maker, so all I can do is continue to fantasize about what I'd like to see.

Ofecteau you present very valid points in support of your feelings about the movie. Just to note, my posting was my own opinion about the movie.  I did not, and do not, wish to criticize anyone who held different views on it. I also agree with you 100% about the blood, and the punching in films. It is very much like the stories that abound in our community here, and on other sites.  Some people enjoy forced fighting scenarios, death fights, family vs. family fights, that other find anathema.

Great video!
I have absolutley no problem with "fights to the death" or blood (if it's fiction), I actually appreciate that the fights have a clear winner and/or a clear finish and doesn't get cut short by a man/referee or whatever.
I have no opinion on the "forced to fight"-situation.
The only thing I really don't like is fights with an audience, but that's no real problem either

That's my two cents :)

What's the name of the movie?

I just don't know why they also didn't force them to fight in panties instead of sweats.  BTW - What was the name of that movie where the mother fought to earn $?
