The other never really got a strong foothold into any kind of role besides a direct to dvd movie. Both had previous fights were it looked like they were going in a way that would have put them on the winner card. Yet because of simple mistakes they were here.
April Scott had a ferocious fight filled with dirty tactics, incredible feats of strength but she ended up choked unconscious by America Olivo.
Evangeline Lilly on the other hand took some shots but dominated Jaime Pressly only to leave her guard down get hit with a spinning kick to the stomach and a big flurry by Pressly which caused the refs to step in. This fight was supposed to be another battle and it was an amazing show of what WBACCF was about. Not the back and forth nature but something else all together
From the beginning of the fight everyone was witness to the Evangeline Lilly that had a reputation before she ever fought.
She started the fight by dodging Aprils punches and hitting rib shots. She bobbed and weaved and changed tactics so often on April that April couldn’t get into the fight
When April went for her tits, Evangeline used tai chi techniques to get her away. Some athletic moves also worked, combining the boxing counter of ducking a left hand to a shot at the ribs to underhooking April’s arms getting her hips and judo throwing her into a entertainment center.
April had nothing but ferociousness which really worked out in her fight with America but in this fight whenever she brought it was countered. Often with tai chi techniques, boxing or muai thai. Then when she was not pushing forward, Evangeline was with boxing, muai thai, and amateur wrestling slams. She even used WWE wrestling moves at one point she hit a dragon suplex and got away and let April get up where April asked “What the hell was that?”
It was time to end the fight now and April could sense her impending doom and tried something. She went for a spinning heel kick just as Jaime Pressly once hit she now went for it hoping for the same result. Instead Evangeline caught the foot and twisted her body and swung April Scott into a wall and proceeded to hit six leg kicks, three to each leg, and a ten punch combination which she ended with a version of the scorpion kick where brought her head down back leg up and the heel of her foot got April in the face.
Before she could do anything else a woman who took a massive beating from a very strong physically fit America Olivo was now tapping out. “No more, please enough. Just don’t.. “With that Evangeline Lilly walked out of the room showing that yeah maybe Jaime Pressly got lucky that when the rankings were released a week ago it was wrong. Evangeline Lilly just made an example of a woman many thought she should have never fought because she was a no one. No woman who made something and was popular into her 30s took those fights. You didn’t see Halle Berry fighting Jenny McCarthy and you should not have seen April Scott fight Evangeline Lilly
Yet you did and it was a destruction, no one could properly describe it but Evangeline Lilly but the only words she used in that fight were “Girl I never heard of” which was before a punch was thrown. A question was now coming up as to if anyone really had a chance against Evangeline Lilly
