Saying a quick happy father's day.. to those of you out there. That have the duty and honor of being dads.
Myself only served as step, for ex wifes kids that lived with us. Yet totally floored me, when the youngest. Now grown, sent me a card one year, after marriage fell apart.
I always wondered what kind of dad, I had been for them.
The card a father's day card. Saying thanks, and that she knew. While growing up, I was always there for her. Even when her biological father was not.
Father's ..... keep in mind... always try and do right by them..
ALSO I know some of you, no longer have your father with you.
So today maybe put in a favored, shared movie or maybe music. To take some time to reflect, and remember. That person that filled that part in your life.
I hope all fathers if any seeing this. Will remember the duty, tasks, and love needed from them for this role.
That they give it their best effort.
YET for those that do not care... do not strive to provide or give this their all. Then I hope you feel the shame... while maybe learning to change things around for the better.
