What if i found dead links on videos section (by example youtube link is dead) and i report. What else-so are there these dead links removed or just let it as they are posted .

Maybe stupid question, but i am reporting dead links in some other forums and doing nothing with dead links or eve warned me . So today i reported 2 posts and are reports helpful or just pointless timewasting me and moderators.
