Where I grew up football was big. Every year there was a powderpuff football game; all the gals that wanted to played; they'd put on the guys football uniforms, usually pads and everything. It was kind of like a benefit (cash raising) thing for athletic stuff and considered very fun and entertaining to watch.
I was close to one of the gals and she said rivalries and meanness came out often; usually between rival cliques of gals and especially angst aimed at the hot, flirty (often busty) cheerleader types.
Lots of deliberate blocking (smacking arms and elbows into breasts) and some rough stuff after a tackle.
One of her friends and her would always go after this incredibly arrogant beautiful busty blonde; they'd charge her and in a move kind of like a double teaming block would get her on either side and drive their elbows into her chest.
Powder puff football you might kind of say it was like the old roller derby womens tiffs maybe? Anybody else know about powder puff stuff?

My old high school had a powderpuff football game during the week of homecoming.  I believe it was a night or two before the actual game.  It was typically Juniors vs. Seniors or Freshmen/Sophomores vs. Juniors/Seniors.  It was always two hand touch or flag football.  It was never tackle.  They never wore pads or helmets.  They would typically wear old jerseys that were not being used anymore.  It was more for fun really, but there were times where a hit was made that had a message behind it.  I never saw any fights happen at those games.  You could tell though that some were competitive with it, and those that were, took it seriously and didn't mind putting another girl onto the grass.
