Well, judged by the comments in the thread this can only be described as a major upset - and one that was never really in doubt once action started.
Kristin Kreuk vs Penelope Cruz
Penelope, the Latina team, captain led from the front, as she simply demolished Kristin - but in a good way that Krisitn won't soon forget when she's alone, in a shower.
Emily VanCamp vs Gisele Bundchen
Maybe some intra-team rivalry can be detected in this brought together Latin team, and being from the biggest of the Latin countries, Gisele could be seen making faces when Penelope was introduced as team captain, and certainly wanted show that she was her equal. Poor Emily only got nominally in the way.
A.J. Cook vs Paulina Rubio
This made the next match an elimination match - and though it may have been one of the least anticipated bouts of the evening, this turned out to even be the higthlight - Paulina Rubio, brought in at the last minute started out giving as good as she got, with both girls constantly having their opponent on the dangerous edge, before AJ finally managed to wr est control from the Mexican to keep team Canada alive.
Erica Durance vs Adriana Lima
Was almost the mirror opposite, of the previous one, with both girls similar of size, build and even looks much had been made of this beforehand, but it quickly fizzled out as beyond the initial changes Erica didn't show up much of a fight even to save her team.
Anna Silk vs Luisana Lopilato
Unlike her opposite number Penelope Cruz, Canadian team captain, Anna Silk had been drawn to appear in the last match, when it was all academical. But where others may have gone limp, Silk let all her frustration out, and Luisana, the poor former Argentinian soap, star walked into a perfect storm. Yet, with the match already won for the Latinas, she appeared more upset when Anna finally crawled off her than with the beating she was actually taking.
Anna Silk left the ring loudly daring Penelope Cruz to come out and 'face a real woman', which can't have been sitting well with Kristin Kreuk, so +1 for effort, but maybe -1 for Captain team management for Anna Silk. Latinas United progress winning 3-2, but both these teams seemed riddled with intrateam bickering.
