I completely agree, the fear of ufc and wrestling is overreaction.  A girl just used her strong legs to overcome a height deficit and at the same time she slapped and pulled hair.  A great match with 20% of it involving scissors, don't mind it especially when one girl gets so mad she cusses the other.   At the same time this match had significant hair pulling.  Relax, I am against crotch grabbing, but I don't critique it.  Is the anti scissor fan not a fan of BSA or the awesome DWW series Timea Mistress of Humiliation?

How do you quantify amateurish use of scissors verse trained. Natural armbar verse trained? I can't think of a way to draw that line. Tilly has training, check out her twitter where she is demonstrating an array of, you guessed it, head scissors.  ;D. Tilly did little else other than armbars and leg scissors, much more than 20%. Tilly did not learn an armbar by being a natural fighter. She was trained.

cfbr you are part of that fanboyism as we all are. You have your ideal as stated. The argument is once the jui-jitsu and wrestling is allowed why not just watch a more professional production for your money. Ultimate Surrender has outstanding wrestlers for instance who trade leg scissors and advanced technique all day. My argument is amateurish use of neck attacks is dangerous, very dangerous, leave it to the pros. Without it we will see longer and more exciting catfights.

Anyway it will all wash out on this next fight when we see what SF does. I'm joining jaybee at "Prestige Worldwide" and making cones.

I liked the use of scissors in the fight. I hope you continue to allow them. If you do want to restrict them I'd suggest ban on head scissors but allow body scissors.

You would think scissors would actually encourage more catfighting.   The girl having the scissors applied to her would use any and all catfight moves to get out of that hold.  She would punch, scratch, claw, attack breasts, slap,  pull hair, etc.. to escape.  So I guess I am in favor of scissors.  No choking.  No armbars.  I like most of your stuff suitefights.

That's exactly my point
Fighters aren't gonna admit to having training
Tilly was no amateur  she was setting Mira up for arm bars and head scissors.from start
If you've done any mma you will recognise the positioning and set up routine .Tilly totally knew what she was doing and that's fair enough it was in the rules apart from the arm bars .she is an awesome little fighter .just watched Mira on periscope and guess what ..Tilly has given Mira the number of her fight trainer and Mira is going there on Tuesday.what do you think Mira wants to learn ? yup how to head scissor probably.if you take these rules out of the equation then you equalise the girls and they have to catfight rather than grapple
The fight last week was awesome and as promised by the oracle Steve the girls were told they had to fight hard and both did that .there were hard face slaps  kicking knees and there was hair left on mat .just think the scissoring shortened the fight .it could have gone from being epic to super epic !!!
This has been a really good debate in good spirits with everyone putting their points across .that is surely what the forum is for.Anyway
really looking forward to this weekend and another fantastic production from the awesome SUITEFIGHTS

A few of these fights have been a lot shorter than many viewers wanted. The nudity is appreciated but the tactics used/allowed seem to cause the problems.

All going to plan Boss?  ;D

I'll get in first, and ask what time you anticipate the action / Periscope to start ... and I'll add on the 16 1/2 hours!!!

Rosalee's flight leaves in a couple of hours. I'll tweet an update tonight when we get dinner.

Periscope broadcast is scheduled for 6:30 PM CST Saturday evening and will be public in order to avoid another debacle like last time.

is everything staying the same rules wise for this 2nd fight in light of reactions to the 1st or are you making a change? Personally having watched just the short clips of the last fight by themselves (will watch the full one soon) I didn't mind the scissors too much, it seemed to add a layer of intensity to the fight actually I felt, gave it a little rawer type feel to it in a way. Would understand if you did make a change but I didn't think at least from what I've seen so far that it was a big problem really.

Most people seem either indifferent toward scissorholds or flat-out don't like them, so they're out for this fight.

I really hope this fight hits the 45 min 60 min range. Any chance the temperature can be raised in the room? I would love to see sweat.
WOW....hot box a couple of young ladies then have them catfight for an hour.....what could possibly go wrong. ..???!!
