Thought that I would try to srart a discussion about female celebrities that have been reported to enjoy fighting IRL.  Through the years various stories, reports and rumors have surfaced about different fighting celebs. Some might be true, others not , but I invite anyone to relate any such stories, etc. on this thread.  Brig. Bardot stated that when she and Claudia Cardinale did their fight scene in The Legend of Frenchie King, Claudia was fighting for real while she was trying to stick to the script.  Drew Barrymore supposely fought in an underground female fight club.  Joey Hearterton and Ann Margret had a private wrestling match for Elvis.  Many rumors about a real fight between Martine Beswick and Aliza Gur (From Russia with Love.)  Raquel Welch enjoys fighting and has picked many a fight in her day. Tina Fey challenged another women at a party to a fight.

There is a whole section of this forum devoted to this topic.  Not to mention the questionable nature of the news reports one might see on this topic!

That section is 99.9% fantasy stories and anyone interested in this type of thread would get lost in the weeds.

Im pretty sure 99.9% of eh stories are untrue but there is one possible lead. In her wondeful womens combative website eeh legendary Barb did once say that some female " stars" did fight in secret.

Now Barb was very smart and preceptive woman who also knew a lot about the womens recreational fight scene ( she kind of invented it ) so if she probably had some real knowledge on the subject .

My mother has told me many stories about Joan Crawford fighting Marilyn Monroe, Jane Mansfield, and the lady that played her enemy in Johnny Guitar.  She also told me Sophia Loren and Jane Mansfield did have a private Cat Fight after Jane crashed a private dinner showing her tits.  She told me Sophia beat the hell out of Jane!  I would have loved to see all of these fights on video or still photos!

Anymore details? I wonder which wife it was? I didn't know John Wayne was married more than once, but, in Hollywood it figures.

The incident occurred in 1956. Miss Hayward would have been 39, Miss Palette 28. It was while filming The Conqueror (one of the worst films of all time).
