Pre and post fight interviews
« on: August 03, 2016, 12:20:13 PM »
Maybe it's just me, but I enjoy the pre and post match interviews with ladies after a good scrap. I particularly enjoyed the clip that Phat Pharrah offered as a separate clip after the Mila v Sarah clip (not sure if it is still available for purchase). Wish we could see more of that from our real fight producers.

Same, love the pre-match interviews, especially if there's plenty of trash talk!

I'm curious what makes it a good pre / post interview for you guys?

- what questions should be answered?
- how long should be such a interview?

thanks!

Pre: why you took the fight, what you think of your opponent, stuff like that pretty much, background if new.
Post: How you felt you did, how you felt your opponent was, if you had a grudge going in if you find it settled or not, would you rematch her perhaps. Not much else beyond that.

I don't think it should be all that long, maybe 2 or 3 minutes depending on answers for each girl. Enough to cover basics, shouldn't take like 10 minutes to get through I don't think. Should be kept simple and to the point while still telling you a lot about each girl.

Use the b-word at least once.

Interview 6 minutes or less.  Explain what went right or wrong and why.

I would like to see

Pre - intro, what they think of their opponent and any holds they hope to try
post - What hold worked best and where it went wrong if they lost. A happy winner and a pissed off loser

Any trash talk would be appreciated as long as it was real.. keep the fake banter to the fake matches.
