Eva’s first time on the mats in a fully competitive wrestling match is against the experienced Zoe. The two share the exact same height and weight, but in spite of Eva’s stamina and great effort, after a first part where the fight looks even, Zoe starts to try harder and her strong legs and terrific takedowns and headlocks will make Eva feel the pain. She ends up spending most time under Zoe’s attack and a spectacular grapevine pin gives her the first point. From now on, Zoe will dominate the match and display an uninterrupted series of holds including headlocks combined with breast smother, pins and scissors... showing no mercy for the poor Eva.
Eva learnt her hard lesson today, but this is just the beginning and she’s got plenty of time to improve her technical skills, while she showed strong commitment and willpower which is a very good start!
