Gene Bilbrew, known as Eneg, was a brilliant portray-er of cat fights, and the biggest single influence on me as an artist, but I never knew he was so prolific until I discovered an archive of his art. Have a look here, and enjoy!

I bought most of these back in the late 1970s-early 80s from Triumph Studios. i think one four page story was $6.99. He did some great catfight stuff.

He did! I preferred his work to Stanton, who was a touch to fetishy for my taste. I even did a re-working of 'The Maid from Mars', in colour and more violent than Eneg, I think, could have got away with, censorship being stricter in his time. It's the only occasion I re-worked someone else's art, rather than doing wholly original work.
