The attached picture is one of the first I did that I was proud of. Drawn with a biro, and I was to do hundreds with that pen, till I got a computer. Pictures drawn with a biro are almost impossible to colour after scanning, so I had use different pens. Pity, as I've never found a pen that enables me to draw facial expressions as well as I could with a biro. Any other artists care to show an example of their early work, traditional or digital, and maybe say a bit about how their art progressed?
