The rematch!
So it finally happened. Diane called me last Sunday, which was a little over a month after the school lobby fight, to tell me that she is supposed to fight Gretchen later that day in a local park. She said they could each bring two people and would I like to see the fight. She also told me her next door neighbor was going to come with her but she won't need any help "getting even with that fat bitch for giving her a blackeye." I said sure.
At 6:00 pm, when most people had left the park already, I arrived at the place Diane told me to be. No one was there and I figured they all chickened out or else she was just playing with me. About 6:10 Diane drives up and gets out of the passenger side of a car driven by a woman she introduces as Linda, her neighbor. Diane was wearing cut-off shorts and a tank top. Linda appeared about the same age, around 35, and was similarly dressed. Diane looked around and said, "I didn't think that chicken shit bitch would show up. She doesn't want to get her ass kicked." Linda said, "Yeah, I told you she wouldn't show. They never do when you challenge them."
Diane thanked me for coming and we were all about to get into our cars when a black SUV drove up and three women got out, one of whom was Gretchen. Diane yelled to her, "I didn't think you'd show up bitch." Gretchen, who was wearing jeans and a t-shirt yelled back, "I'm here to finish the job and beat your sorry ass." Her two friends were women around her age too, all early 30's, and one apparently was her sister and they could have been twins.
One of them said to me and Linda, "Ok how do you want to do this? What are the rules?" Diane yelled out, "No fuckin' rules, just me and her." I said, "How about anything goes but no hair pulling, no biting, no eye gouging." They shook their heads and said, "Ok, fine by us."
Diane and Gretchen moved into a grassy area with the four of us on the sideline watching. They circled each other with their fists up and started to throw some jabs. For the first minute or so everything missed as they tried to judge the distance between themselves but finally Diane got mad and stepped in closer and connected with Gretchen's face. Within a few seconds Diane had punched her in the face and in the stomach and it looked like the fight was going to be over quicker than I had hoped.
Gretchen's friends were yelling at her to punch back so she grabbed Diane around the waist and pulled her to the ground. Gretchen was heavier than Diane by a good 30 pounds and you could see her big saggy boobs under her t-shirt as she got on top of Diane. Diane tried to buck her off but in the process left her face unprotected and that's when Gretchen landed two or three good punches that bloodied Diane's nose. Diane managed to flip herself over to avoid more punches and Gretchen tried to grab her hair but Linda and I yelled out, "No hair pulling!" and she stopped. Gretchen got up off of Diane and resumed a boxer's stance. Diane got up to her feet holding her bloodied nose and faced her opponent. She was mad and you could see it.
Diane and Gretchen were both already tired and breathing heavy. Gretchen could hardly hold her hands up in front of her face. Linda yelled out, "Come on Diane, finish that fat bitch." Diane threw a punch at Gretchen's head but it kind of glanced off the side and Gretchen reached out and grabbed Diane's tank top, pulling it toward her. Diane said, "Let go of me you whore" but there was a ripping sound and one of Diane's tits popped right out. Gretchen's sister started to laugh and pointed at Diane and said, "Look, her titties are out! Look at her little titties!" But Diane had already stepped in closer to Gretchen and started to unload punches with both hands. Gretchen tried to protect her face but now Diane was hitting her almost at will. Linda yelled to her, "Come on Diane, finish her, you got this. Knock the bitch out!" Gretchen had a trickle of blood from her nose and her left eye was starting to close. She was breathing really hard and had dropped her hands to her sides, occasionally touching her face and looking at the blood on her hand. She said, "I quit, you win" and she sat down on the ground holding her face.
Linda ran over and hugged Diane and Gretchen's sister and other friend came over to help her. Diane was still mad and yelled to Gretchen, "That's right bitch! You better stay the hell away from me. Now you'll see what's it like to walk around with a shiner!" Linda and I told her to calm down, she had won the fight, and now it was time to leave before someone called the cops. Diane said to me, "I hope you liked that. I told you I would kick her sorry ass." I said, "Yeah, thanks for inviting me, this was really cool." She and Linda left the park.
I went over to Gretchen and her sister and friend who had moved over to a picnic table. Gretchen had a towel up to her nose and she was holding her eye. I could see that Gretchen was going to have a pretty big shiner and she was also getting a nice fat lip and had some other red marks on her face. She said, "The fight's over, why are you still here?" I said, "I wanted to make sure you're ok." Her sister said to me, "She's ok, she's tough. You can tell your friend to keep away from her." I said I would convey the message. I was glad I got to see the rematch of that spontaneous fight but like the first one, it was kind of sloppy and didn't last too long.
