But not everyone's money is on Kate; there was a noted influx of sharp money (from Europe and the Middle East where Goodwin is well-known) bet on the raven haired challenger. There are some, contrarians, who believe Goodwin is that woman the one who will finally defeat Great Kate.Few argue that Alice's victims were no more impressive than Kate's. Others point out Upton hadn't faced anyone the level of McKinney, whom Alice destroyed! However, those options were countered by the fact Upton hasn't lost even a single round in the entire tournament. Nor has she, like most others, lost her top at any time.
Kate was everywhere leading up the the final. Her star power hyping the match to unprecedented heights. She made the rounds of every interview and talk show. She was humble, respectful but above all she came across as confident. Alice is a great competitor and her performance has been extremely impressive,Kate is quoted as saying. That said, some of her behavior has been incredibly disrespectful and unnecessary. The raven haired Big Bad Alicein a jet black robe slowly makes her way toward the ring, the robes collar flared around her, making Goodwin truly look like the Wicked Witch. The next thing Alice knew, someone was slapping her. She opened her eyes and Alice saw the faces of Cat Bell and her worried trainer. You just made it,Alice's trainer said, helping her to her feet. Another couple of seconds, and....The bell had rung, freeing Goodwin from her tomb. Upton's fans hearts sank about as low as they'd been when it seemed Kate was done for just one round ago.
