Another fight at a wrestling show
« on: August 06, 2017, 02:42:21 AM »
So a couple of months ago I posted about a Fight two female valets got into at a show I was working. Well literally about 5 minutes ago the same two girls just went at it again at a different show. Tonight I am working a fair show for a company in Indiana. As my opponent and I were discussing our match for later we heard a commotion in the dressing area that was set aside for the females. . Next thing you know the curtain is ripped down as the same two girls came crashing through in different states of undress. They were pulling hair, swinging, and calling each other every filthy name in the book. Well last time we broke them up and the booker sent them home. This time the promoter decided to separate them, let them get dressed, and take them outside to a nearby field so they can just fight it out. They've pretty much been told that neither one of them  are  being used at this point.

So we get to the field as they both pretty much put on their workout outfits they arrived in on and started swinging again. We all stood back and let them go at it until blood was shed and we broke them up. All in all the actual fight lasted about 5 minutes tops. These girls are Pro wrestlers so they probably could have gone longer if we let them.  Right now the one I believe lost  the fight is hanging out backstage, but the winner packed up and left without pay may I add. Just thought I'd let everyone know while I had a free minute.

The promoter of tonight's show pobably didn't hear about the other incident. Even if he had in this business there is supposed to be a level of professionalism that should be maintained. Look at the situation about 12 years ago with Matt Hardy and Edge in WWE. You have a situation there where in shoot (real world) Mat Hardy's fiancée cheated on him with Edge. It caused so much drama Matt ended up legitimately losing his job. They bring him back a few months later and turn real life drama into a successful storyline. The level of professionalism Matt showed there to be able to work with the guy who used to be his best friend  that cheated with his girl is tremendous.  So basically these two girls, who may I also say we're not even working against each other, should have left their drama and egos at home.  Instead they acted like teenagers and cost themselves a decent payday.

Now when it comes to the basement I would say no honestly. Women in the Pro wrestling business tend to get big heads a little quicker than men. You have a room of around 200 people all telling you how "hot" you are on a nightly basis. Not only that but I get asked all the time why more shows don't have women wrestlers on them. Well it's because women tend to charge more per appearance. So what we have here is two young girls who simply just don't like each other, and even if I did bring them to the basement to settle it I really don't think it would be. I do hope these two wise up soon that personal drama has no place in wrestling before they both ruin any chance they may have of making a career out of professional wrestling.

No I probably wouldn't approach either one honestly. In Pro wrestling most places have a lockeroom leader that is the observed "boss" of the lockeroom. Normally it's a veteran that's been around a long time that most of us can learn from. If someone like me went to them to talk about it I'd pretty much get told to mind my business. When it comes to the demeanor honesty I don't think either one thought she lost. When I say lose or win in this situation it's just my opinion. The winner was still pissed off about the entire thing and of course not happy to lose a pay day. The "Loser" stayed behind and just hung out, and of course the post fight shit talking.  The biggest reason more women don't get booked is like I said above a lot of them ask for unreasonable rates for Indy bookings. Most guys on the circuit only make $50 plus trans at most so they end up with $60 total. A lot of them women want around $100+ for a booking. Most promoters can't afford that unless you get to the super Indy Feds like cZW, AAW, ROH, etc. it is a little crazy to be around for both, but we happen to work in the same area so in all reality it really isn't all that crazy. .

If they know what's good for them and they take their careers seriously they will squash the beef asap. Otherwise they will pretty much both be on the "Do not Book" list for area promoters.

If you are regularly getting into fights at shows it is definitely spread around especially to bookers. There is too much shit going on backstage to keep the show moving forward to have to deal with teenage level drama like this. I haven't heard about them fighting at shows other than the 2 I saw. As for separating them you are talking about 2 250lb solid muscle guys separating 2 probably 120lb at most women. It wasn't that hard to separate them, but they didn't want to release the hair.

As for damage it was mostly cosmetic with a bloody nose thrown in. It was just your typical run of the mill girl fight with the wresting, punching, kicking, and hair pulling.

Yeah even if I told people who they were everyone would be like "Who?".  They are a couple of rookies that want to act like they are still in high school.  If they get their cab shit together and be professional they can earn some decent money as the Midwest scene is lacking women.
