UK Catfight Tournament Round 10
« on: March 07, 2010, 09:04:31 AM »
First up two blondes with a similar record but Nancy will look to take advantage of her height and wreck Heidi into submission. Kate Beckinsale is perharps a slight favourite over Liz Hurley but Catherine Zeta-Jones vs Geri Halliwell is very close to call despite Geri's impressive record. Dannii Minogue looks to smash Jenny Frost into another defeat as well as Rachel Stevens in her contest vs Andrea Corr. Liz McClarnon is also odds-on favourite against Roxanne Pallett but the petite brunette nearly pulled an upset in her fight vs Nancy Sorrell, so something might be finally going on in her camp.

Finally the two closest fights, Naomi Watts vs Emma Bunton and Gemma Atkinson vs Victoria Beckham. Will Bunton's winning spree end and will Victoria upset the recently in-form blonde model?

NANCY SORRELL (Age: 35; 5'7" / 8th 5-4) vs HEIDI RANGE (Age: 26; 5'2" / 9th 4-5)

KATE BECKINSALE (Age: 36; 5'7" / 7th 5-4) vs ELIZABETH HURLEY (Age: 44; 5'7.5" / 11th 3-6)

{alt} {alt}
CATHERINE ZETA-JONES (Age: 40; 5'8" / 6th 6-3) vs GERI HALLIWELL (Age: 37; 5'2" / 3rd 8-1)

{alt} {alt}
DANNII MINOGUE (Age: 38; 5'2" / 10th 4-5) vs JENNY FROST (Age: 31; 5'7" / 14th 1-8)

{alt} {alt}
RACHEL STEVENS (Age: 31; 5'3" / 12th 3-6) vs ANDREA CORR (Age: 35; 5'1" / 15th 0-9)

{alt} {alt}
NAOMI WATTS (Age: 41; 5'5" / 5th 6-3) vs EMMA BUNTON (Age: 33; 5'2" / 1st 9-0)

Sorry Naomi but there's really no way she stands a chance against Emma Bunton

Here are my picks for this exciting round:

Nancy Sorrell vs Heidi Range -  Nancy takes it but it isn't as easy a fight as she expects. Heidi puts up a real hairpulling battle and also gets a submission. But Nancy grits her teeth and doesn't give in only to reverse fortunes and make Heidi give up.

Kate Beckinsale vs Elizabeth Hurley - Maybe the best fight of this round with two very evenly matched fighters.  I like Elizabeth but I think Kate eventually wears the older woman down as the two fight close to exhaustion.

Catherine Zeta-Jones vs Geri Halliwell - CZJ will hand Geri her 2nd loss. Geri has won previous fights against bigger women with ferocious hair pulling. But her blonde locks won't stand up to CZJ's hair ripping talents.

Dannii Minogue vs Jenny Frost - The dancer's legs won't be enough as Jenny is very hungry for another win. She has Dannii singer at the top of her lungs in submission as she wraps her long legs around Dannii's tiny body.

Rachel Stevens vs Andrea Corr - Andrea has hopes against Rachel who doesn't have that great a record. Andrea is looking for her first win but alas it won't come. She will suffer defeat at the hands of Rachel after putting up a good battle. Close but no prize to poor Andrea.

Naomi Watts vs Emma Bunton - I don't agree that Naomi has no chance against Emma. It is always difficult to go against an Aussie in a fight. She is out to prove that the POM is overrated. Maybe the most vicious, claws-are-out catfight of this round as Naomi has to match Emma's catfighting abilities to win.

Liz McClarnonvs Roxanne Pallett - Have gained new admiration for Roxanne after checking her out on the web.  Would love to say the little 5'1 fireball finds a way to hand Liz her first defeat. But the truth is that Liz is too big, too strong, and too skilled for her. An easy victory of Liz to take over top spot.

Gemma Atkinson vs Victoria Beckham - Victoria's problem is that because her husband is a big football (soccer) star she thinks she is athletic also. She thinks too highly of her own abilities. Gemma will show her that quickly as she gets Victoria down and plays with her to show her who is the better woman.

Hmmmm, seem to have gone with the first woman listed in every case but one. Pure coincidence.

as the votes so far clearly show Naomi is piece of cake for Emma. the Spice Girl is just way better. but it seems you don't see too well anyway. Geri is not a blonde but a redhead. lol

Like many others I give my views on the fight based on what I think would happen independent of the voters. As far as Geri being a red head well the picture provided by Vasago sure looks like a blonde to me. {alt}.
Searching the web for images of Geri one finds
{alt} and

So unless my eyesight deceives me she is sometimes a blonde and sometimes a strawberry blonde. If you look long enough you can probably find redder hair and maybe even some dark hair. With dyes and tints I doubt if even she knows what her true hair color is anymore.

Her natural hair colour is light brown but she's became famous with Spice Girls as a redhead and dyed blonde for most of the time after the group collapsed. She also had dyed dark brown hair for some time, but I don't think she's got back to her natural colour ever since making the headlines in mid 90s. I guess it's the same thing as with Madonna or Angelina Jolie  ;)

And Catherine Zeta Jones and Gemma Atkinson both went up to 58 in a very short time. It's just the usual cheating going on. Now it's just even more obvious than before.....

Vote count went up by 20 on Saturday alone that's a total of previous five days combined. Several other polls were influenced in the last hour, so I thought I might get that factor out of the way, but I guess that still doesn't solve the problem  ???
