In the time before the internet and a time when I thought I was the only male aroused by female conflict, any little incident would be thrilling.
Entering a supermarket in a London suberb I heard raised voices. I thought at first it was two ladies having a joke. In fact two ladies on adjacent check outs were having a verbal battle. Unexpected in this area and the women involved definitely didnt look the type to engage in such behaviour. Both wore glasses, the younger woman (mid 20s) was calling the older (40ish) 'a stupid cow.' The argumnet raged and hit its peak when the younger lady removed her glasses off. It was an obvious invite to fight but when the older woman ignored this gesture and just continued the argument, the glasses were replaced. All this time the two ladies working the checkouts kept pushing the food through and often making eye contact with each other. Both looked quite excited. The older woman left first and I followed to the car park to see what would happen. When the younger woman followed their cars were a way off each others and only angry looks were exchanged.
Nothing you might think but this non event kept running over in my mind for a week. I liked to imagine the two rivals and the two checkout ladies all had erect nipples with the excitement.
Another incident at an airport, a lady had arrived too late to check in for her flight. A supervisor's working at a computer just inside the end of the check in island. The woman angrily told of her plight and got a sarcastic "Oh dear" from the supervisor. The customer, enraged by the reaction moved into the work space. The Supe moved her forearm towards the woman and asked her to move out of the work area. The gesture was met with a like response and, with their forearms crossed like swords the women pushed against each other. Neither gained ground but more importantly neither conceded any in his test of strength and resolve. The customer asked how the airline woman would like a punch in the face. She was asked in return if she would like a night in the cells. This defused the situation. Their faces showed both women really wanted to fight, but this was not the place. Both women were magnificent. A thrilling face off was and again recuring memories was all I got though.
