For the first time, I went to a Renaissance Fair.  I was amazed to see the outfits and posturing first hand.  I can't believe that it is not a more popular venue for contests and fights on this forum.  I did a quick search and there is very little here.  Being that no matter what your figure, very pretty and sexy outfits can be worn, I would love to see and hear more about experiences or fantasies about this.

Surely honor must have had to be defended or insulted at these things!

As someone with a keen interest in history and reenactment, I've always thought this could be an interesting setting for a fight! I too have been researching this subject, but haven't found much on it. Quite jealous to know some people have seen such shows, and I'm curious about how they went and what happened.

I used to go to Renaissance Festivals back in the day, they were a lot of fun.  I saw a lot of cattiness between the "Wenches" and thought it would be fun to arrange some sort of wrestling between them.  I thought it would be fun to wrestle also dressed in their type outfits for a match

I think for most part it was part of their act and gimmick, but who knows what goes on behind the scenes jejeje

Thought I would post a couple relevant pics.  Not sure about all these festivals, but ours has a pretty cool mix of event weekends.  Pirate Weekend, Highland Games Weekend, Barbarian Weekend, Oktoberfest, etc.  So there can be a pretty interesting mix of costumes and themes.  Of course I haven't been there in 15+ years so I am no expert.  I think the wife doesn't like the competition.     Maybe I need to get her a costume of her own, eh?
