Hi all,

Looking for a bit of guidance.  I am wanting to transfer my old wrestling dvds, collected over a few years onto my computer.

What software is the best to achieve that?  Are there any good free ones which won't  display a watermark over them?

Thanks

I use a piece of software called Handbrake that does the job super quick. I think it's available for Windows/Mac/Linux. It's free, and no watermark.

Excellent.

Thanks for the info!

I have been ripping my DVDs to MP4's just so that I don't lose any of my DVD's.  I find that Handbrake works really well, there may be some problems if the Discs are copy guarded, I have found that the decryption softward put out by Sly Soft, is really good.  Those are what I use and I only occasionally have issues, but these products don't leave a water mark.  Hope that helps. :-)

Handbrake is excellent and is a free download. However, I found it is very slow. Also, be sure to download from the original site www.handbrake.fr. Other distributors offer handbrake but you can't tell the good ones from the bad ones. I have heard of these sites downloading more than what you asked for; sometimes even locking up and taking control of your pc. Anyway; good luck.
