I hope I am not beating this issue to death, and my intention is not to annoy or bother anyone.  With that said, I am still perplexed and don't understand why men need to hide behind the picture, personality and fake profile of a beautiful woman?  Is it the deceit that is the excitement, that they are fooling some poor guy or innocent woman to believe that they are this hot, sexy woman?  Is it that they can explore a side of themselves that they can't show the real world?  If they are gay men, wouldn't a gay chat board be more exciting and meaningful?  You don't have to come out of the closet, and you can still be your TRUE self, isn't that better?  Why the false pretense?  Can't you say you are a man, and still explore the fantasy that way?  Is the thrill in the lie, or is it in the acting out?  What is the true essence of this?  It fascinates me that this has to happen.  I so want people to be straight up, be who they are, say and do what they mean!  Not be liars, cheats, fake, but have enough self respect to be real!  I am what I am, a real dude, with many faults and weaknesses, yet, I am strong enough, and man enough to be REAL!!!!  What is the reason this happens, what is at the heart of this, please share your thoughtful views, and feelings on this sensitive but important topic!

I actually have a few ideas/takes on this question honestly.  I figure that:

A) they feel that while they are pretending to be a woman, the 'women' they're talking to are actually women.  And they have some chance of getting sexy pictures or setting up a meeting and when they meet they'll be able to convince the woman to sleep with them.

B) They have gender issues and get a thrill off pretending to be a female and leading other men on

C) They get a thrill from deceit

D) Have no life and nothing better to do than come on here and pretend

Personally, I don't let it bug me.  I just look at it that everyone I talk to on here is a male except for proven female wrestlers such as Vira or the girl from Catzreview on here.  And I have no intention on going into the chat room or believing that some 'fight' being set up will really happen.  I just want to discuss and share views and sites about female wrestling/catfighting.

It seems to me that this issue has been beaten to near death. I can't believe the number of responses that it has received. No doubt that the majority of the members on this site are male. Some pose as women. So what. It doesn't bother me at all. If it did, I wouldn't voluntarily visit the site. I log in for entertainment because I love watching women wrestle, reading about women wrestling, and listen to other peoples views and stories and sometimes get involved myself. For God's sake, if it bothers you that much, don't visit the site.  Now , did someone say Dr Phil is in the house. I need a session with him. I am just too damn happy and Dr Phil will certainly fix that in no time.

Why does it make you so uncomfortable?  Once again, if this holds no interest for you, or if you think it is played out, that is your oppinion and that is fine.  Then don't come here, don't read it, and move on.  I would like to hear from other people on this subject, see new thoughts, feelings and oppinions.  Many may agree with you, many may want to see what others think too.  That is what makes this board and freedom great.  We don't all have to agree on something, we can voice and articulate different thoughts and ideas.  So this thread remains open for others to join and share their perspective on this.  Maybe you should start your own thread, being that you know so much and have all the answers, enlighten us with your great wisdom, and please tell us how to think, and what we should say, and how we should respond too!

Yeah, because posting fat jokes is obviously the mature way to settle this.  I mean honestly, what's the point in debating something or answering truthfully, we should just go for blatant insults.  Not too mention I'd like to say that at least Royals had the balls to post his real picture, when he could have just gone without it or posted a fake one.  And before you say 'that's the pot calling the kettle black, you don't have one either!', I'm not the one making fun of someone based on their picture.

And I'd like to point out that I can understand Royals frustration and need to ask questions.  He had a dream/fantasy that when he went to a catfight forum, that the people on here would be real females who catfight.  That seems to be a pretty legit dream.  However, the dream was crushed because some people feel the need to pretend since their real lives suck or they're gender confused or something and say they're females.  He's confused and doesn't understand why, and he's asking questions.  So rather instead of going into the thread with the huge title saying something like 'WHY ARE MEN POSING AS FEMALES,' you could avoid going in.  Since you only A) come in and post insults, and B) look like an idiot because you're going into the thread and knocking it to the top while saying you're tired of it.  Not too mention that you're ONLINE.  Posting insults and fighting.  Which really isn't accomplishing a lot to make the world better.

On topic, I believe I've already mentioned why I feel this happens.  Some people get a thrill from the posing, or they're in actuality gay (or sick.  I'm not saying gay people are sick, btw, I'm saying they're sick since they get off by trying to fool people into thinking they're something they aren't and are preying on people.)  Though I imagine some could be like our cross dressing folks and enjoy pretending to be females because it brings them pleasure since they can imagine themselves rolling around with women and engaging in the behavior.  Though I have to say that the ones that try to chat up men and pretend to be women are sick.  Be honest with someone if you're going to chat them up.  I think maybe Royals (and everyone else) would be more understanding if they weren't deceived.  I mean imagine you're dating some girl for days or weeks and ready to jump into bed with her and she says 'oh by the way, I was born a man.'  You're going to be pissed if you didn't know before.  It's natural.

Thanks MASKEDBUNNY for getting to the heart of the matter here, and for your intelligent views on this topic.  The issue is LIES and DECEPTION, that is the problem.  There are many inocent victims of this manipulation.  For some this is all fun and games, others just go with the flow, but there are some who really take this seriously, either to possibly meet someone for real matches, or who really believe who they're chatting with is real.  It is a little sad and unfortunate that it has to be like this.  Just as sad are foolish, lonely hurt people like KC, who feel the need to continue with stupid, childish, un-funny, so called insults, after I clearly stated that I was through playing that juvenille, un-neccessary tit for tat game.

I just felt the need to come back to this subject and felt it fair to use the same topic as used previously as there was quite a bit of discussion around it.

I have been around here for quite some time, obviously more in the chat room... and there are many I have spoken to that I have gone onto web cam with that would verify I am female.

Yes I have heard it say that a high percentage are male posing as a female.   I would like to point out that I seem to have been chatting to a lot more females recently than men for whatever reason.  From recent experiences I would say a large amount of chatters in the chat room are actually females, at least the ones Ive spoken to.  I have learned to be able to tell the difference.  Its not actually that hard when it comes to it.  Ive learned to be able to tell the difference in the way a man talks to the way a female talks.  All in all I would reckon I have had conversations with two posers but many more conversations with females. I think someone gave a figure once of something like 90% being male.  I believe this to be far too high.  I would not like to put a figure on it as it would be like taking a number out of a hat but ninety percent is waaaaaaaaaay too high

Quite a few have webcams myself included. I believe personally I am too quick to go onto the webcam to prove myself others are more cautious and I can respect that.

I knew of one man once that posed like mad, maybe six different female user ids. He was pretty good at it but there were certainly tell tale signs.  The major one is the language used.  Women use different words for different parts of the body. OK no more tips for the male posers from me

There are a lot of fakes out there.    A lot.

My facebook fan page is living proof.  I can't tell you how many times someone has become a "fan", and then I wonder why my numbers suddenly drop back off.

It always seems to be the ones with 1-4 pictures in their profile, who add nothing but catfight companies, and never post anything of relevance to their wall, except for stupid messages like, "hi", "how is everyone today", and basically non thought out and nonsensical stuff that a normal poster would most likely never do over and over.

But, to each their own.

I guess if you like posing with a woman and messing with other dudes it's not like anyone posting here is going to stop you.

But, that doesn't mean we have to like it either.

  I wish they would support real life catfighters, would it not be more interesting to see real life women doing what they type about and dream about? I read stories and vote in polls sometimes, but that is nothing compared with buying a DVD or download of a real match.
  The best is to sponsor a match with 2 women you dream about locked in combat and see who comes out ontop in real life. Maybe they are to cheap and that is the way they get their kicks for free?

I myself buy female fighting videos. Whether of not the content is "real" is of secondary importance. It is the images that are real, if open to some interpretation. You are either into these real images, or you cannot afford them. If you cannot afford them, you turn to that which does not cost beyond the equipment necessary to view  the written word over the Internet via computer. How else can you explain the interest in polls, imaginary fights and stories (and by the way, none of these guys are exactly Marcel Proust)? And "cyber fighting" may well be the stupidest fucking thing I have ever heard of. Neck and neck with polls. What on earth is the point of posting fucking PICTURES of two women and VOTING on a nonexistant outcome as though it is in any way valid or real?

 Polls are not bad when your voting on 2 real fighters ex. Jet Vs Xana would be a interesting match-up and would be interested in knowing who the fans think would win if the 2 meet on the mats.
