• Lynda Carter claimed the biggest beatdown of this round with a 42-21 trashing of Anni-Frid Lyngstad
• Ingrid Steeger kicked Julie Ege into the closest defeat of this round with a score of 32-30

Update after Round 8:

• Catherine Bach (53-20 over Pamela Tiffin) and Cybill Shepherd (54-21 over Edina Ronay) equalled Christie Birinkley's previous record of the biggest winning margin (33 votes) however Christie set the new record by trashing Margot Kidder 56-16 and taking the benchmark to 40 votes.
• Valerie Leon scored the closest win of this round by breating Lynda Carter 36-35. It was the seventh fight of the entire competition settled by just a single vote.
• There are minor changes among the top contenders thanks to votes difference with the same thing happening at the bottom of the standings.

Update after Round 9:

• Five of the top six biggest beatdowns in the competition occured in this round. The new record of 44 votes difference was set by Cybill Shepherd who trashed Donna Mills 60-16. Christie Brinkley came just short of that mark by beating Ingrid Steeger 56-13.
• Ornella Muti, Catherine Bach and Morgan Fairchild set their personal records of winning margins.
• On the other hand in the closest fight of this round Edina Ronay beat the higher-ranked Chris Noel 37-35 and moved four places in the standings.
• Pamela Tiffin scored her first win of the competition, beating Linda Harrison 39-31. It's the second time that Harrison has lost a fight to a previously winless opponent (the first one was Yutte Stensgaard).
• Thanks to her maiden win Pamela Tiffin jumped five places from dead last to 27th in the standings ahead of Margot Kidder who has the worst negative votes difference right now albeit there are four women still winless in the competition and are ranked below Kidder as a result.
  
• The biggest climb up the rankings after this round was seven places (from 24th to 17th) by Anni-Frid Lyngstad who beat the highly-touted Sonia Braga 42-31.

Update after Round 10:

• Cybill Shepherd claimed the biggest beatdown of this round by pummelling Julie Ege 66-24 and moved ahead of Catherine Bach in the overall standings. Lynda Carter picked up the second biggest trashing by knocking Lesley-Anne Down 64-26.
• Susan Denberg and Ornella Muti lost their invincible status. Susan went down to Chris Noel 41-42 in one of two fights separated by just a single vote while Ornella suffered a 43-48 loss at the hands of Marta Kristen. Both these girls fall behind Carol Lynley in the standings as a result.
• The second fight decided by a single vote also brought Barbi Benton her maiden success as she forced Debbie Harry into submission 43-42. Another close fight featured Suzy Kendall and Joanna Lumley which eventually was won by the former 44-42.

• Cybill Shepherd and Morgan Fairchild both scored equally record beatdowns with 54-15 scoreline over Margot Kidder and Donna Mills respectively.
• Chris Noel pinned Joanna Lumley by a single vote 36-35 in the closest fight of this round.
• Yutte Stensgaard moved up five places from 22nd to 17th after beating Julie Ege 37-32.

Update after Round 12:

• Bo Derek and Morgan Fairchild were going head-to-head for the biggest beatdown of this round which was so intense it turned out to be the record trashing of the entire competition! Bo prevailed in this duell over Morgan as she pummelled Donna Mills 61-11 to Morgan's 61-12 win over Margot Kidder.
• Two closest fights were decided by one and two votes respectively. Susan Anton barely beat Edina Ronay 36-35 while Julie Ege picked her first win of the tournament with 36-34 triumph over Debbie Harry.
• Yutte Stensgaard is up to her best ever position of 16th after pounding down Anni-Frid Lyngstad 41-31 in an all-Scandinavian derby.

• Christie Brinkley and Cybill Shepherd shared the biggest beatdown of this round, both winning 65-17 against Marta Kristen and Debbie Harry respectively.
• Two fights went right down to the wire and were decided by just a single vote. Jacqueline Bisset beat Anni-Frid Lyngstad 42-41 while the biggest upset of the entire round saw Lynda Carter losing to Agnetha Faltskog 41-42.
• Donna Mills scored her first win of the competition by puting Sonia Braga away 44-38 and thus left Lesley-Anne Down as the only winless woman in the standings.
