No I don't know where this is from, but I do want to say my first impression is that it is pretty poor action. It seems to be a cross between a catfight and sorta, kinda MMA. The fighters are untrained, the fight unskilled, unsafe with no hand wraps or gloves, no apparent rules or  reffing, at least in this short preview clip. This is a first impression from a very short clip of a group in it's early days, Good things can come from poor starts.If they hired me to guide this group, which they certainly would not do, I'd try to get some trainers and have some concern of the fighter's safety.

Mostly the same footage, but it also has an interview in German (don't understand a lick of German!) and one of the competitors goes by "Manuela W."

While not disputing really anything that is said, I'll just add that them being "untrained" and it not being "true" MMA while also no-gloves and in front of an audience in a ring is part of the appeal. Just a wild scene. Love seeing amateurs go at it and happy there was a ref there to stop it.

I remember seeing this years ago in much more grainy footage - the winner was a lady called Manuela Wilp; i will never forget that name!

A quick search tells me this fight was against Trina Fellabaum in Superbrawl 9 (19/09/1998). Seems she had one further fight, which she lost to Jennifer Howe.
