Models fight in gym bathroom after social media feud.

A long-burning social media rivalry between two Venezuelan models boiled over into real life when the pair bumped into each other at the gym.

Former beauty queen Osmariel Villalobos, 28, now a morning TV show host, says she will have to take two weeks off work because of the trauma she received during the pair’s fist fight.

Aside from taking antibiotics and wearing a neck brace, she has three bite marks on her legs, a dislocated thumb, and deep scratches on her neck.

She described how she went to a class at her gym in Venezuela when her rival Diosa Canales walked into the changing room and attacked her.

The after photos show that this must have been a brutal fight with biting, clawing and punching.

The whole story is a bit confusing and one of the two is clearly lying - perhaps they both are, but this I think is the gist of it:

The caption says she's a woman who doesn't mince words. One day, she posted a picture of herself on Instagram in a baby doll nightie with her nipples clearly discernible beneath the cotton.

Canales hit back at once on Twitter saying "when you get to 100,000 followers call my people".

This led to a long feud in the social media between the two women:

In the end, Diosa went on the programme and apologised to Villalobos for her part in it and the two shook hands. That appeared to be the end of it.
Diosa was aware that the two of them were going to the same gym.

But they trained at different times and had never met there, until the fatal day when the two found themselves alone there late at night.

Words were exchanged and Diosa threatened to go on TV and denounce Osmariel for slandering her saying "Tomorrow, I'm going to destroy you".
Osmariel claims that Diosa then attacked her, threw her to the ground and beat her up: "She was like a mad woman. I've never seen so much anger and hatred in a person's eyes. If she'd had a knife, she'd have killed me." Eventually, the security guards heard the screaming and pulled Diosa off her. She was taken to hospital and with her contacts in TV hers was the version of the story the Venezuelan public heard first, but there seem to be problems with it notably motivation: Why, if she was going to denounce Villalobos anyway the next day would Canales then attack her physically? It also fails to account for the nature of her injuries.

That evening, Canales went on TV to give her version of the story

and the fact that she had the courage to give her account of the incident on camera (Villalobos, as far as I know, has never done this - all I could find was a radio interview) and has done so at least twice and doesn’t look to me like someone who is lying is one of the reasons I’m inclined to believe she’s the one telling the truth. Her version of the story also appears to me to accord better with the known facts.
She says that as soon as Villalobos heard that Canales was planning to denounce her, she flew into a rage and attacked her. "She saw me as some little girl she could bully, but when someone attacks me, I fight back." She perhaps punched Canales (which would account for her injured thumb) and got her down. According to Canales she found herself with Villalobos on top of her and couldn’t get her off. In the end, she says, she had to bite her in the leg to get her off. That appears to have been the turning point and after that, she doesn’t deny, she beat the shit out of Villalobos until the security guards heard her screaming for mercy and pulled Diosa off her.
Both women suffered minor injuries - nothing serious in either case.
Winner (who also suffered a contusion on the neck) on the left, loser in the middle and (with the bite wound clearly visible on her leg) on the right. For a few days, Villalobos wore a neck brace, the result (she says) of the moment Canales grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the ground.
