...I just have to say thank you PORNHUB for fucking up the entire adult movie industry because you ran a sloppy shop...

Let's us also direct our ire to the sickos who used PH to post illicit content and revenge porn.
PH utterly failed to responsibly moderate their content, and the entire industry...and the public...has suffered the consequences.

to producers I beg of you PLEASE look to starting your own websites...

Producers should take this suggestion seriously. Catfighthaven has been running their own site for twenty-five years! DWW, FreshFite, and Female Combat Stars are a few others who run their own sites.
- Producers can sell their content directly to fans.
- Producers can sell individual videos and/or offer site memberships (Catfighthaven, for example, does both).
- Producers can avoid having to deal with the petulant demands of platforms (like gumroad, for instance).
- Producers can exercise complete control over their own brand.

MrRain

You will actually less people selling off their own websites, not more.

As it is becoming law in many jurisdictions, so as a producer why would you risk fines and possible jail time whereas if you sell through a platform they are the ones legally responsible not the producer.

I'm going to be closing my website down before the law comes into force in the UK and migrating it to MyMemberSite which will allow me to see direct and also has age verification built in.

Even this forum will have to have age verification eventually unless the company which runs it wishes to incur legal repurcussions.

I should say I'm not happy about any of this, but I want to stay in business, and out of prison.  I've been part of meetings in the UK with the regulator to try and understand all of this.

It's coming, there is nothing any of us can do about it, we just have to adapt as best we can.

I'd much rather be filming more content than messing around changing everything I do to jump through hoops due to Age Verification and the idiots at Mastercard

Wow what's happening in the UK sounds crazy! I don't  THINK the mission statement here in the states is to completely get rid of porn  ??? But based off of what happened in my state to PH I could be wrong. As of now PH is the only site that was outright banned here and other sites are slowly going to the extreme age verification system. They say all this is to protect the children and keep them from accessing AO material which is perfectly fine as long as me an adult in his late 40s can watch whatever he wants to watch within reason as long as it's not illegal or completely f***ed up. I do understand why PH got hit hard though,  it was because of the levels of buffoonery they had going on up there. The US may try to make how they handle porn a state by state decision which means for deep red states you better prepare to say bye to your adult content.

Kind of feeling like I'm at the end of my collecting as well at 38.  I would have posted a lot on this forums early days, then eventually stopped participating for reasons that are not relevant to the current topic.  I would have used this site, the other popular websites like Haven DWW ect in my early days.  My earliest buys were California Wildcats, think my first vid and still my favorite to this day is Bridal Battle.  I didn't really start collecting until I was invited to a private Vk group that eventually amassed a 5k video collection, my personal collection of stuff I liked was 1500.  That is what made me start my collection, I was able to see what I was missing out on.  Ironically enough getting access to such a large amount of vids is what made me start buying.  Cal WIld, Cf Planet, Chaos, FoxyCombat, Jm Rolen, Kontex, Mfx,Napali, We Bring it, TillyTown, Suitefight all companies once I got a proper preview of I forked money over to.   Thats over now.  No longer can access that group, not sure if its because I'm from USA or from censorship rules.

Now I come here and see this thing for clips for sale, all the old companies I mentioned have sites that are shut down, or they moved to clips for sale.  The pool of available options for catfights fans is shrinking.  Some of the new stuff is alright, but its all lazy with 0 production involved and companies all seem to charge way more than what the vids are worth.  Which I could go into detail about that comment, but I'd end up writing a small book.

Unless a site mega site like Roxxanes comes along, but one that easy to navigate and fairly priced, then I'd be inspired to buy some more.  But after 15 or more years of buying and collecting, I'm feeling milked and tapped out.

Just one more example of politicians trying to look like they are "doing something", while ignoring many real problems.

In Florida all adult sites are now required to confirm you are an adult (that means give them your driver's license info.).  Oh and they have been successful at blocking drag shows????

Like there were tidal waves of drag queens surging down my street?  And if there were I would NOT care.

o - On the other hand, insurance in my state is FOUR TIMES the national average.

o - Home prices are unaffordable to most.

o - Social Security is supposed to be underfunded in nine years.

o - New condo laws are basically leaving old people homeless, while corporations take over their buildings.

Anyone working on those problems?

                NOPE....

Putting your content in the hands of these large platforms comes with risks.
- A large percentage of your profits must be shared with the platform. This was the most common complaint of producers who used C4S. Some producers even avoided using C4S for this reason.
- The platform reserves the right to remove your content for any reason. Gumroad shocked producers by suddenly, with minimal warning, removing their entire content libraries almost overnight.

People are also hesitant - understandably so - with sharing their private, personal data. Verification companies say they will destroy the documents and information they receive once verification is provided, but there is no way for the consumer to verify this. Consider: many people who have provided data to DNA analysis companies are concerned by articles that their information could be provided to unvetted third parties.

Horny-Jew

Where am I now supposed to jerk off to ?  :(

ChandieSavage

I'm not sure if it was mentioned yet but this is only in certain states that verification is required via uploading a picture of your ID.

I can confirm that in my state, it's not needed for OnlyFans, LoyalFans or Clips4Sale accounts, however folks in one of the 19 states with adult content restrictions are now being asked to verify their age by submitting a photo of their ID and in some cases a photo of them holding their ID as well, in order to access adult sites.

If adult sites don't implement age verification, they will either be inaccessible to people in these areas (without use of VPN) or face risk of legal action from the state

Some states will even be requiring this for social media sites such as facebook, instagram, twitter etc.

Don't worry I'm too nice of a guy to just go to war with (unfortunately) a bunch of random producers... unless I finally get reeeeeally pissed off. As of this writing I'm far from it but that doesn't mean the problem doesn't still exist. I will admit my issues with the current female fighting scene is more so directed to the laziness of a lot of the current products and not so much the pricing. The pricing for the most part hasn't really changed. For example price is usually still determined by video length so a 15 min movie may range between 15 and 20 dollars, a 20 min movie between 20 and 30 dollars etc. which isn't bad. But there are a small amount of companies that try to buck the current system or pricing trends but I  won't call them out or question them... yet ;) As long as a majority of the pricing stays fair there's no need for me to go off lol

Just to add to everyone's woes and a moderator may wish to bring this to the attention of the owners of this forum, I was in a meeting with Ofcom (the regulator of the new UK legislation) yesterday and not only would this forum fall under the new legislation but as an obstensible user to user platform, it also has additional responsibilities under the legislation and has to comply by 16th March.

All websites which require UK Age Verification have until mid July to comply.
