As you come closer, passing by the haunted cemetery on one side. The mist and fog laden, haunted forest on the other.
You feel the eyes watching, all that you do.
The spirits know your coming, will you survive or soon be joining them?

Through the entry gates, you soon arrive at Slaughter mansion.
The ladies guest rooms all ready. Food and drink ready in the grand ballroom. An indoor pool, with spacious sauna, to the back of the mansion.
The door slowly creaks open, as staff greet you. While more eyes from the dark and shadows watch.

Thunder flashes through the sky as " The poison goddess" Belladonna appears at the front door of the manchion , and smirks as she just seems to belong in this long forsaken place. She moves along the grand hall and allows stormbolt a moment as he wss hosting this party and it is rude not to atleas acknowledge the host with that done she moved into the house it's self she smelled the air looking for a hint or ruin that her vision treks of and .moves past saying nothing else.

I move cautiously, surveying the battleground in the distance, looking left and right and listening for any sounds that might be a forewarning.  a  haunted cemetery and haunted forest await, and then Slaughter mansion in the mist shrouded distance.  I place my replica sword to one side, as it will be no use once I pass into the zone: my natural weapons against those of my peers will be feet and knees, hands, closed into fists, open for vicious slaps or curled into an opponent's hair, nails honed to a level of sharpness for clawing, perhaps even teeth.  Where will it start I wonder?  In the cemetery or forest, of will it wait until the mansion itself with its many venues?  Time will tell.  I see figures approach the mansion doors from a distance, squinting to observe and perhaps witness the start of the fighting.  I move closer and closer, drawn in by the irresistible pull of impending combat.

As I walk through the tall metal gates of the mansion and into the graveyard, I realize one thing!!  I have nothing to fear of the dead!  They are at their resting places.  It's the living that I have to watch out for, and I see a bunch of them in the distance entering the mansion dressed in a variety of costumes, some looking very lethal and dangerous.  But that was something that I also had to expect, so I begin making my way toward that dark entrance at the back of the large house.  Already I can see someone.....or something....looking out of one of the upper story windows at me.  I highly doubt that I will mix in well with this crowd, but I know the meaning of survival. And who do I see?  None other than my close friend Marlu!!  Oh, how we have sat next to each other at catfighting event in the  past.  But this is much different!!  We are not watching others fight this time, we may have to end up facing each other at some point.  I don't know if she saw me or not, but by the way these steps creak LOUDLY as I climb them, it sure didn't take an open invitation to say "HERE I AM"!!!  SO I am ready for anything that may come out of a dark corner at me..................
