Catfigting for the first time! Need advice! : )
« on: July 20, 2011, 08:57:50 AM »
Hi guys!

I'm Jess and I recently learned about my boyfriends interest in catfighting. At first I thought it was a bit weird, but I've decided I want to make the effort to explore his fantasies. Not to mention the more stories I read on this site the more exciting the whole thing seems! I think I could really get into it!

So to get to the point my boyfriends birthday is this Friday and I really wanted to provide some special entertainment for him this year! I actually brought up the idea of me catfighting for his birthday a few weeks ago when I first learned of his interest in this. As you would expect he was thrilled about the idea.

Since then we've found another girl that we think matches up nicely with me and have made plans for the weekend. I decided to go all out and make it like a legitimate as possible so we're basically going to be doing a best of 3 fights with a fight each day of the weekend, that way we have time to recover in between the fights. (Fridat/Sat and possibly one sunday if needed)

The main thing issue now is that we're just not sure exactly what the rules should be.

My boyfriend is really into catfighting, not sexfighting or wrestling so we're not trying to restrict the rules too much.

So far we've basically want each fight to be a best of 3 rounds. At the end of the fight whoever has won the most rounds wins that fight for the day (my boyfriend judges the rounds, but he promised us both to be as impartial as possible. We're just not comfortable including an additional person in the mix.) Obviously if anyone gives up at any point they forfeit the match, and if a knockout occurs in any the rounds the fight stops immediately and the fighter that is knocked out losses that fight.

Initially we were hesitant about including punches at all, but then we decided it would turn into more of a wrestling thing. So instead we've opted to get headgear and boxing gloves to lighten the impact of the blows to make sure no one gets seriously hurt (although some bruises and maybe a black eye or something would be fine, after all we don't want to completely water it down).

So that's pretty much all we have so far do you guys have any input on rules to add that you think would help make this an even more fun/safe experience?

Also, I'm kind of unsure what to expect since it's gonna be my first fight. If anyone wants to share anything they think I should know I'll be all ears! Any tips for a first time fighter? I really want to do my best to try and win because my boyfriend is the type that really gets off to the dominant fighter. I want to do him proud and I definitely think I can take my opponent. I'd even go as far as saying I'm kind of looking forward to knocking her around a bit, haha! ; )

Of course I'll fill you guys in on all the details after the fights go down!

If you guys have any questions about me, my opponent, the fights, or anything at all really feel free to post them here. I'll be checking this thread often so I can take into account your suggestions and absorb any advice/tips anyone has for me, and to also answer questions. I'll post the finals rules we've decided upon Friday morning, and I should have the results of fight one on here Friday night!

Again, thanks for all the support/suggestions/tips! : )

If you decide to go gloves off, make sure you both trim your nails. THis sounds like a friendly competition and neither of you wants serious scratches. I'll echo the other folks in saying you have a lucky boyfriend.

Hrmm, that's a really interesting idea to add some variety and it would probably be fair that way. That way if one girl isn't good at cat fighting she can redeem herself in the other events.

I guess we'll just do the best 2/3 for the three types of fights for that day and then that girl will be the winner of the day.

Also I really like the idea of removing the gloves/head gear for the catflght to allow for hairpulling, scratching, ect. We'll probably just save the headgear/gloves for boxing.

Still not entirely sure about the punching in the catfight. I'd hate to ban punching/kicking entirely because then it would probably devolve more into a wrestling match with slaps and hair pulling. I'm actually starting to think it will be fine since both of us will have the option to give if things get too intense. Not to mention if a knockout does occur the fight stops so it's not like someone is getting assaulted while they're unconscious.

We'll definitely clip the nails as well, we probably wouldn't have thought of that, so thanks for the reminder! : ) Sorry that I'm responding in one post, I've taken all your thoughts into consideration. Keep the advice, suggestions, and questions coming! : )

I myself can't wait for Friday, I'm just itching to fight! haha : )

I wouldn't exactly say that, haha. ; )

But I do agree we wouldn't want anyone being scratched beyond recognition. Thanks for the suggestion about the nails!

Great thread! Your guy is one lucky dude.

One important thing to consider, and it may seem obvious but easily overlooked, is just ask. Ask your boyfriend what turns him on about fighting. And why are you doing it? Why is the other girl interested. Perhaps knowing all the interests will result in the format, judging, rules, winner, etc. and you'll all be happy.

Also, to echo 'fightfanatic' make sure you are both comfortable with the process. I'd suggest starting off a little tamer and if you want to get more wild (i.e., physical) then you can always modify the rules or have another match.

Good luck and have fun. If you want to post a picture or two of you and the other gal we won't mind ;)

No one has said anything about clothing.  Have you discussed it with the other woman?  I know you started thinking of this for your boyfriend but you and she are a lot more important to the success of the experiment than he is.  How well do you know her?  Do you feel she will keep to the rules or will they go out the window?  I get the impression you are fairly young but if you are older you might want to be concerned about falling.  It's a hell of a lot less fun at 40 than 20!  Do you have mats or pads for the floor or is that too much like wrestling?  Where are you planning on doing all this?  In a garden or a living room or ???

At any rate, best of luck to all three of you.  Let us know how it goes.

So not necessarily friendly, but not pissed to the point of permanent injury. You're welcome for the suggestion. I've seen too many gals forget to clip or even forget to remove fake nails and some nasty scratches be the result.  I hope you do well this weekend and I can't wait to hear the results.

Wow, so many replies! Where to start?

As for the multiple falls I think we're just going to keep it to 1 fall for each type of fighting on each day like we mentioned earlier. My boyfriend isn't so much into tit fights / slap fights as he is for just the fighting itself. It's a great idea, but it would be exhausting to carry out all those fights in a day after day for a possible 3 days. Not to mention my boyfriend just isn't as in to the other types of fighting. So as for now we're sticking with boxing/catfighting/wrestling 1 on each day.

As for my previous fight experience I'm a complete newbie, which is why this all sounded a little strange to me at first, lol. I've never been in a fight at all, but I have wanted to fight at certain points over the years. I just never had the guts/gall to go let myself go and go at it. I was pretty much the quite/reserved girl for much of my life, lol.

As for what my boyfriend finds attractive about catfight? He said what attracts him most is the competitiveness of it all. He really loves how primal it is and how much pride is involved. He loves a girl that can get down and dirty and handle herself when necessary against another girl. The thought of his girl knocking out/defeating another girl just drives him wild.

As for why the other girl wants to fight I'm not exactly sure. She said she's been in one fight fight in high school, so many she enjoyed the experience?

As for how we found the other girl and the tension between us it actually started back in high school. I've been with my current boyfriend since high school and for a brief period we had broken up. She had always been into him and used that as an opportunity to move in on him. She and my boyfriend then dated briefly before he broke up with her to go back with me. We definitely don't "wish death" on each other, but I've always been pretty upset she even got with him to begin with so quickly after we had broken up. I'm also not sure to what extent the relationship went when they were dating and that bothers me a bit. My boyfriend has always been pretty reserved about telling me what went on with him and Jenn back then. I'm sure she must have been upset he got back with me after dumping her as well, maybe that's some possible motivation for her? I'm not sure. We've been pretty civil with each other since everything happened in high school as all 3 of us even attended the same college as each other, so we've seen quite a bit of one another. I still wouldn't put us as "friends" as their is always that "uneasy" feeling we get around each other. Tension as you said would be a good word. Jenn currently works on campus with my boyfriend. They don't work together directly, but they do see each other from time to time, which is when he spoke to her about everything and made the arrangements. We actually all just met earlier today to go over everything and we'll be doing that again the morning of the fight.

As for the mats/padding question we're basically removing all the furniture out of a room in my boyfriends house and padding the floors with mats/pads and using some pillows to buffer the edges of the walls.

We're both really excited and want this to go well so we're going all out for this one!

The clothing thing is something we do need more input on. I'm thinking either lingerie or bathing suits to start and whatever happens, happens. What do you guys think?

As far as the pictures go we're both not really comfortable disclosing pictures right now, but I could provide you with a description of what we both look like and our measurements if anyone is interested.

Thanks for all the support, suggestions, and questions guys! Keep them coming! : )

On that topic, feel free to start a short poll if you and the other girl are ok with that to get some opinions on an outcome if you like.

That would be fine with me, but since we're not posting pictures I'd guess everyone would have to go by a description? Also, can I start the poll in this thread or do I need to make a separate one?

Ah I see so there is a little history there. I think it could play a role in her choosing to do this, but only she knows. How did things go between the two of you when you met up this morning?

Do you think you will be able to stay within the rules for this given your past? How do you think it may impact the fight?

The meeting was very tense although we just the details of the fight and so far we're in agreement with everything. I don't think we'll have a problem keeping tot he few rules we have in place as they're just to ensure safety.

As for as how the past will impact the fight? I'm not sure. It's definitely gonna give me that little extra motivation to beat her. I want her to KNOW my boyfriend made the right description years ago, you know what I mean? I'm sure it's motivation for her as well to try to "prove her worth" so to speak and make him desire what could have been.

Is that what you meant?

So you could feel the animosity huh, any pointed type comments towards the other from either one of you? What rules have you decided on so far?

Yeah, just seems like it's gonna give the fight an extra edge. Be careful not to go too crazy with it though, sometimes when you get two people who have a past such as you two have, even if you don't totally hate each other per se, it could be easy to get out of hand where one or both of you could get hurt badly. Keep that in mind, try to keep as level a head as you can.

How long has it been since all that was going on?

No pointed comments, just heavy tension.

So far we've decided on the format 3 fights each day for 3 days (If necessary) with the winner of the best 2/3 winning the day. The wrestling and boxing rules are pretty standard. As for the catfighting we've leaving it pretty open, but no hitting the other person after they give or if they can't fight back, like in the case of a knockout.

I'll definitely keep your advice in mind as I understand what your saying and I'll try to keep as level a head as possible.

If you mean how long since it's been since the who dating incident in high school, it's been around 6-8 years I'd have to guess. Since the dating thing happened in our sophomore year in high school and we're now nearing the end of our studies in college. I was around 16 then and I'm 24 now.

Oh wow, you're doing 2 of 3 each day? I didn't realize that was what you intended. At first I thought it was 2 of 3 falls for a given match type, than just 1 fall and 1 match type per day. 3 different types a day may be a bit tiring, sure you'll be able to handle that? Least it guarantees all 3 types will take place though, as opposed to possibly just 2 of the 3.

Yeah, I was concerned about that at first, but I figured it will just be a true test of endurance, which should factor into a fight, right?

We're also going to be rotating the first type of fight each day so that even if we don't end up doing all 3 fights for all 3 days the full spectrum of fights will still be covered.

It does worry me a bit though about how often we'll be able to go all the way, if boxing is first a someone scores a knockout is the person that got knocked out going to be able to participate in the rest of the activities? I'll have to discuss things again with Jenn and my boyfriend tomorrow, you may be right in us being over ambitious. We'll see/
