It's 'mea culpa' time now. Again. I have to apologize (again) for the delay in finishing the next chapter. Before the snowballs 'n knives come out, let me say I'm working hard on it! For anybody camping out, I'll bring some hot dogs 'n marshmallows!
I wanted to get it finished last weekend but we got hit with a tummy bug epidemic that sent 2 kids to bed for 48 hours 'n me into full nanny/nurse mode. No writing got done. Sorry (again). I've been slowly working on it this week, a paragraph at a time ... in between trading trash with Marie B

'n regular visits to the sick ward to take care of my lil patients who are now pretty much back to their normal selves. Crisis over.
I promise Chapter Seven is on the way! I swear! Honest! No, really!
While you're waiting, I want ya all to please do yourselves a big favor 'n read the finale of Jonica's
A Clockwork Strawberry. No, not because I'm in it.

Because Joni's story from beginning to end is totally absolutely wonderful! She created a wild crazy twisted world 'n threw us into it, it's a ride I'll never forget!
When you're done doing yourself that favor, do yourself another one. Read Marie B's
A Small Problem. Again, not because I'm in it.

Marie came up with a terrific original concept where we finish each other's thoughts 'n sentences.
Oh, yeah, one more thing.....Since Old Deadwood Days is an ongoing series, I thought it might be a good idea for me to re-post the first 6 chapters in order so any new readers don't have to keep going back through all the comments (THANK YOU ALL for all the feedback!!!) 'n make it easier for them.....as well as anyone who may want to re-read a chapter. I hope you don't mind if I do that (as Jonica says, it'll also give me the chance to do a little bit of editing too!).
Thanks for being so patient! The snacks 'n drinks are on the way!
hugggzzzz 'n xoxo
