Just moments ago , I watched Monday Night Raw , flipping over to it at that to see that to keep in line with their lack of the Divas Division interest , they had yet another Mixed Tag Match that ended with another Ex Ladies Champion  ( Eve Torres ), since she is not the champ , on the losing end , who cares about Credibility , obviously not the WWE & lost via another rollup ( To AJ ) , is this the WWE or a Uncle Vince's Wrestling Academy Student Show Match & it has been this bad for months now & it was bad before this , but tonight made me declare the Divas DEAD , isn't your Ladies Champion , Layla , who knows , she is never on & when she is , gee , a mixed tag match , WTF WTF WTF , after tonight , I am officially pissed & want to tell the WWE " JUST COMPLETELY FORGET ABOUT THE DIVAS IF YOU DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THEM ANYMORE , DON'T SUBJECT US TO THIS ANYMORE , IT IS HORRIBLE SO DON'T WASTE OUT TIME ANYMORE "

Impact Wrestling is close to flatlining also , even though they added Brooke Hogan to head the Knockouts , there are still not alot of them , remember when they had enough to have a Ladies Champion as well as Knockouts Tag Team Champions with plenty of Ladies for both & they were also discussing giving the Knockouts their own show & next thing you know , " WHERE THE HELL DID ALL THE KNOCKOUTS GO , THEY WENT FROM ALOT TO NOT ALOT IN A HUGE HURRY & IT IS A JOKE THEY STILL HAVE THE KNOCKOUTS TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP LADIES & GENTLEMEN , YOUR NEW KNOCKOUTS TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS , ODB & HER BOYFRIEND , ERIC YOUNG , YES , A GUY IS 1/2 OF THE LADIES TAG CHAMPS .

With the Ladies they have left out of everything , who do we see as their top Knockout ? , Miss tessmacher , yes folks , it's official , Miss Tessmacher & little AJ are apparantly the best these companies have to offer , pulse of the Ladies

Women's Pro Wrestling is alive and well on the Independent circuits.  Shimmer, Chickfight and Women Superstars Uncensored are three big ones.  That doesn't take into account the Japanese wrestling scene with ICE Ribbon, Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling, Oz, and JWP Project.

Just because the big two don't care about Women's wrestling...it doesn't men its dead.  WWE hasn't cared about it since Trish, Lita, Molly Holly, Victoria and Mickie James left.  McMahon has always liked the male wrestlers more.  TNA just doesn't have the talent anymore to have a decent sized roster.

Who killed women's wrestling? Try the fans who quite honestly never really gave a shit about it. Outside of Japan the talent level even in Shimmer is lower than the men. The mic skills are lower. When i watched ROH we would CRINGE when they handed the mic to 'the promo killer' Alison Danger or Lacey. You could feel the crowd die.

I tried wathcing a SHIMMER DVD and I saw nothing from anyone that I would expect higher than a midcard men's match. I have seen local indy cards much better.

Ask wrestling fans if they ever thought of women's matches other than a pee break. Most I speak to never liked them. No matter who was in the match, all they wanted to see is a hot body..ok nice now get this crap off my screen and bring out someone I want to watch.

Even as a woman I can not be inclined to give a damn about any active worker because they quite honestly sucked. And the fact no woman has ever stepped up as a booker also seems to not help matters.

Its quite likely WWE and TNA are just answering their demographic's wants. Even SHIMMER just does a few shows for tiny crowds and does OK DVD sales.

Is Mexican America chicks still there - Sarita (Sarah Stock) and Rosita (Thea Trinidad)?  TNA had a couple of the best in the business when they had Melissa Anderson (played double role as that Arab chick for Awesome Kong's manager and Allyssa Flash) and Sarah Stock at the same time - they even wrestled a couple watered down matches had they let those 2 go at it full they would blow away a lot of the guys on the TNA roster and TNA male roster blows away WWE roster.

WWE is too busy sucking John Cena and Sheamus's dick, especially Cena.  they are so desperately trying to make him into the next Hogan by making him look super human by winning in handicap matches and also try to get the audience to feel sorry for him when he gets beat down in a sneak attack by Big Show or Brock Lesner or go through the history - yet half the crowd continues to boo him - why?  his act is tiring - do something different with him - make him a heel - make him learn more than 5 wrestling moves.

Back to women's wrestling.  I think it officially flatlined when they made Kelly Kelly the womens champ.   They pushed some talentless stripper but she gets the crowd pop from a bunch of horny virgins in the crowd.  WWE womens division showed some flashes of brilliance in girls they hired - Victoria was good but she left but at least WWE let her say goodbye to the crowd.  Mickie James -forgot how she left.  Melina Perez - love her or hate her and she was difficult to work with but she was talented and very enjoyable to watch (and not just the splits she did on the entrance that my girl Eva is starting to perfect).  How did Melina go out?  She got squash jobbed to Kelly Kelly.  They could have at least let Awesome Kong squash her.   Melina was never heard of again.  Melina is out in the ring with no entrance music that day, gets one move on Kelly Kelly then gets squashed and starfished - they could have had Beth or Kong destroy her instead.    The Bella Twins - great concept, terrible wrestlers and mediocre on the mic - LoveSexyJobbers - you gotta admit those two would make great jobbers.  I so badly wanted to see Kong squash those two and WWE cockteased us with it happening when the 2 of them were making fun of Kong before she got pregnant - then she vowed to squash them when she returned.  Bellas never renewed their contract, so much for that.  The last hope that WWE had was Maxine (I still think that Maxine and Melina would make a hot tag team - either as a good tag team or jobbers).  Melina could have gone to TNA and joined Mexican America and been the only real Mexican out of the 3 girls, hell Maxine could have too (even though Maxine in Cuban, but at least she is Latin unlike Sarah Stock and Thea Trinidad - who is from Trinidad, where ancestry is often from India).  Maxine went from a great mic worker/shitty wrestler to a great mic worker/great wrestler but WWE didn't want to use her enough so she said fuck it. 

I think WWE also killed the womens division when Santino dressed in drag and won the womens battle royal.

Who knows what has happened to them , Rosita , is she still with TNA ? , Sarita I think competed a few months ago I think , & you don't see hardly any of the other Knockouts cause their too busy pushing their greenest girl , Miss Tessmacher & as for the WWE & Maxine , another Mystery , they don't even let the Ladies champ , Layla compete & the WWE Creative , this is the only time during a discussion that I call them that are to me WWE UNCREATIVE , it's no wonder why they are always getting fired , they have no creativeness , especially for the Ladies , great example , Natalya's WWE  career path , (1)Non Wrestling Manager (2) Jobber Wrestler  (3) Pushed Wrestler (4) Champion (5) Not the Champ anymore , Jobber who loses in 35 secs weeks later , every match & also look at the whole Beth Phoenix / Natalya " Divas of Doom " thing , they won their 1st 3 matches then lost their next 3 Billion matches , well Natalya did until they broke up the team & lastly your Santino in drag point , it is my point with Impact Wrestling & how they don't care anymore , the Knockouts Tag Team Championship ,Gail Kim , also your Knockouts champ because we don't have enough girls anymore for a tag team division & we will have them lost the belts to another team , 1 who is a guy ,

WWE is getting more and more hard to watch - now they are adding another hour to RAW.  Women will still get 2 minute matches.  What are they going to do with that extra hour?  Shove more Cena down our throats most likely.

Maybe they can wasye more time with people rambling in the the ring about things so they can still find a way to not get a Ladies match on , I mean right now , you don't have to turn on RAw for at least the 1st 20 mins as usually most often , they begin the 1st 18 mins of the show with someone rambling on & then someone comes out to answer & then someone else & then some else , it's wrestling , wrestle , I know we are watching on tv for free , but ther fans there paid money to see a show , not to see people talk on the mic

I think it's wrong to say that the demographic doesn't want to see women wrestle. How quickly we forget that Trish and Lita once main evented an episode of raw. I'd argue that the times when the Divas were biggest was when they had a few that could go in the ring.

The problem now though is they just have a bunch of models that they're trying to push as threats. It's not going to work, everyone isn't stupid, if you falter in the ring people aren't going to get behind you. You may argue that someone like Kelly Kelly is pretty over for being terrible in the ring but I chalk that up to her having a look and an "it" factor, something that Torrie Wilson is that would be PERFECT for a valet role that Vince doesn't feel is important anymore.

If you feed the people a crap product they're going to continue thinking it is. 5 minute dvia matches on raw isn't going to change anyone's mind. Do something special, they had it with Kharma who unfortunately never had a chance to show what she could do but she was over for being a spectacle. Lets some girls who can go in the ring have decent matches. Let the models be valets. It isn't hard but creative is making it needlessly hard for themselves.

Just a couple years ago women were main eventing on TNA too and they got some nice pops.  Mickie James vs. Tara cage match was one of the main events.  They claimed that this was the first womens cage match in TNA but Tara and Kong did one prior to that as a main event too.  Sometimes the women would have 2 or 3 matches on TNA.  They would have some great tag matches too.  Tonight?  not one womens match - not even much of an appearance by women except for ODB for 10 seconds with her male tag partner.

TNA was hiring the serious indy wrestlers while WWE was hiring the models.  One thing I can say this week is that WWE gave us sort of a womens match this week while TNA didnt even give us a woman and hell she would have probably been attacked by Aces and Eights too.

Yes , Impact Wrestling forgot the Ladies this week , & Smackdown , wrestling is just as common there now as Sgt slaughter making an appearance on there

I gave up on women's pro wrestling at the same time that I gave up on men's pro wrestling.  That was when the matches ceased to resemble wrestling and took on the appearance of a high-impact acrobatic show.  Not to discredit the athletes who put themselves at great risk to provide this entertainment.  It's just that I don't find it entertaining, particularly not when it involves women.  Perhaps it's my age, but I'd much rather watch consumate pros like Donna Christentello or Penny Banner or Anne Casey than any woman that I've watched in the past 20 years.  They impressed me as real pro wrestlers and even in one-piece suits, they seemed far more sexy than the painted, tatooed, leathered women of today.

Obviously, I don't make up modern pro wrestling's target audience, but that's my two cents anyway.

Bear - look up some matches from Cheerleader Melissa, Sara Del Ray, The Canadian Ninjas (especially Portia Perez), Madison Eagles, LuFisto, MsChif, or Mercedes Martinez.

While the "big 2" may not be high on women's wrestling (or any wrestling for that matter) the Independents love the matches.

Thankfully you have "  You Tube "  and " Daily Motion "  to watch some good pro women's wrestling.

Sad to say WWE and TNA no longer provide a good product when it comes to women's wrestling. Just for " shits and giggles " I watched Raw Monday night. Yes where was at least one good women's match. The Lita bit was a waste of air time. Steph looked good and she's gotten better with the mic. lol

I lost interest in both federation's about 2 years ago.

I haven't watched any professional wrestling since the mid 70's, so I don't know who these newer people are, but keep in mind, it is supply and demand.  If there was a sizable audience for female wrestling these days in that type of venue, then the producers would provide more matches.  

I'm sure they analyize the ratings blocks and market research this stuff to death. "Hmmm, we feature a big ladies match in the 2nd segment of the 8PM hour and our ratings tumbled, only to pick up after the bottom of the hour. Lets phase out those ladies matches, folks "

Whatever they're doing it is for a reason.  They're going to check the research, fan feedback, Q ratings as well.  You know they qualify this stuff to death.
