I finally got around to watching The Amazing Spider-Man.  I'd been putting it off because fuck it, how many Spider-Man movies can I take in a decade, but I was very pleased with it, actually.  Which makes me all the more disappointed by the terrible reviews for the sequel. But I thought it was a great to have an awkward, geeky teenage Peter Parker with a Brooklyn accent.

And MOTHERFUCKIN' HOMEBREW WEB SHOOTERS.  Fuck Raimi's organic jizz-shots, man.

Have not seen it .. YET have to say .. web shooters more true to the comic character, than organic spewage ... Just saying.
He he he

I watched X-Men Days of Future Past recently and it blew my mind. It was an amazing movie and much like the Star Trek reboot, established a new timeline.
YAY!

I think Grimlock in this one as a sentinal right??   ;D  Sorry could not resist .. I know the ladies do not like us using the name Grimlock here.
Thanks for the update after seeing the movie red. Have trio of movies on list to see.. 2 out current this is one of them.

POINT of interest ... AFTER credits.. Captain America showed Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch ..

Now happened to see online .. X-men also revealed quicksilver?? So both studios able to use rights to this character. Will we see some dumbass legal battle between studios over this??

Any input facts Fantastic four reboot yet??

Nope, there was an existing clause in the agreement Marvel has with Fox that some characters can be used by either studio.  I do think, considering what we saw in the Winter Soldier credits scene that there are no Mutants in the MCU.  Plus Agents of SHIELD was adamant that there were no psychics in that world.

This is why what Disney REALLY needs to focus on is a Howard the Duck reboot.

I'll submit my script this week ...

Well since Lucas did the original, you could write a prequel trilogy.

Is society ready for three movies about a pantsless duck growing up on a planet of ducks with no pants?

I mean, the time he won the Quack-Fu tournament in Bill Valley would be kind of interesting.

True true. How about we skip to the part where he becomes guardian of the nexus of all realities.

That's the Man-Thing!

Of course, it also sounds like a penis.

Did you ever see the Pythons' A Liar's Autobiography?  I thought it was sweet.
