Hurricane Havana
« on: April 11, 2019, 05:37:29 AM »
I was just wondering if Hurricane Havana ever did any real/competitive wrestling/catfighting? I got a few of her matches and they seemed scripted, but she was always a favorite of mine when I was younger.

On a side note, if I remember correctly, she did some more adult videos, including one with Feisty Fiona (who she wrestled against). Does anyone remember the title of the video?

One of my favourites too. She did several competitive that I know of, against Wildcat Kelli (kelli wasn’t at her brawling best at this point), against Lady Ellen for Carolina Catfights (not convinced this was 100% competitive , but close) and others that I can’t recall ????

Hmm.  Wasn't she the wrestler that hosted  a women's wrestling event where approximately 12 people showed up (including wrestlers and their friends & support staff)?  I vaguely remember her going around in circles arguing and eventually insulting GR of DWW about how to host successful events and which types of mats to use. She went on and on about this and that and how FvsF events weren't about which woman had the largest breasts - then suddenly, like a damp fart spread over an open face white Wonderbread sandwich in a Texas wind-tunnel, everything was over except the hysterical laughter.
You don't have to see the entire staircase to miss the first 3 steps and fall headfirst into that final tumble.
When you've run out of time for 12 steps come visit us at "Step 13" (At a neighborhood near you).  HH drink specials for 1st & 5 yr pins.

I honestly don't remember. When I was younger and first into this fetish, I never really followed anything other than what was on websites or yahoo groups (messageboards would have blown my young 18 year old mind). I believe she had an online feud with Ringmaster Girls that never really went anywhere. It would be pretty ironic though given that HH had some pretty big breasts, posed topless and flirted a lot on her website, and tended toward more erotic fare sometimes (with some adult videos out there). She was fairly talented as a wrestler/catfighter thought from what I remember. Though all I found of her recently was a video from her site that was scripted...Just wondered if any of her website videos were competitive or where other ones might be. I actually found quite a few, so I'm excited to see them.

Interesting.I did follow the Convention (San Diego?) if this is what you're referring to and heard someone had reported them to the authorities. I had also heard Helen Von Mott had an issue or two.

Actually, using the internet archive on her old site, I found she held a tournament with a bunch of girls in an EWF ring (federation she used to work for). But none of the images or anything were captured so I dunno what kind of tourney it was (competitive, catfight, pro). She's a really interesting person, wish I could find an email for her or something to ask questions to, haha.

Well I know exactly what type of tournament it was because I spoke with several of the women who went and they described exactly what "didn't" happen in great detail. After all the mssg board hype and  back and forth it turned out to be one of the worst and poorly attended (12-15 people counting the wrestlers and their staff) events in the history of women's wrestling events.  If someone truly wants to find out about Hurricane Havana they can easily do a search on her name via this mssg board.

That event was held in West Covina but the city shut it down on the first day.  It was part of the Women's Wrestling convention that had been previously held in San Diego.   I don't think they ever held another one after that,  but I don't think Havana had anything to do with it other than being one of the wrestlers or vendors.

It's always puzzled me why they never brought it back.  Today just about any city in Southern California would be far more tolerant and not shut them down.   I remember Ron Dvokin of California Supreme would have these open houses at his studio on Melrose with some live events and meet some of the girls and those always did well.  It would be great to see something like it again in the internet age and I personally think it would do well.

Pardon my ignorance but why do cities shut these private wrestling events down?

I always wish Bad apple would return (even if it's just their videos and website) or a spiritual successor. I liked some of those girls and often wonder what they're up to now (Christina Deja, Chantel Lace, Nadia, Stephanie Fox).

The reason why these events get shut down is probably because someone freaks out about 'porn' or something and it gets shut down. If you did it in a smaller venue, non-public it would probably fare better. Or maybe things changed since the porn industry has conventions now with exhibits.

Many of you may or may not know that there was a lot of Haterade flowing back and forth on Barb's Board during the time of the 1st and 3rd WWC conference.  DWW had taken the FvsF market by storm via providing beautiful athletic women  in consistently  intense wrestling  that featured multiple matches (4-5) on a single tape.  Instead of charging $150 or $80.00 per tape, DWW charged $30.00.  Many fans were so enamored of the product DWW was providing that they stated online they would not attend the event unless there was some assurance that DWW would be present.  Enter the Trolls stage left whose only duty was to disrupt communication between FvsF fans and FvsF producers and berate anyone who enjoyed FvsF.  One or more of these folks called the airline and claimed GR of DWW was bringing women into the USA to work as prostitutes for an event. This caused a number of issues but also shed light on a suspicion I'd warned about:  I'd strongly suspected for some time that the board and other areas were being monitored and suggested everyone take extra vigilance against letting people post anything remotely related to child porn  or violence towards women.

I'll skip forward 2 years after a number of other events occurred that might raise an eyebrow of a discerning fan enough to realize we should be very very careful about the details and info shared online when advertising events. So the numbskulls organizing the last failed event shared very explicit photos advertising topless wrestling in the San Diego local media.  Now San Diego is quite beautiful and it is also very super conservative and more than a bit racist.  This local advertising along with the crank calls from the internet FvsF haterade squad led to the event being busted midway by the police.  Unfortunately as bad luck would have it, that "particular" event had garnered the interest of more than a few very visible entertainers who were interested in FvsF and wanted to see what it was about without necessarily being "outed".  Once the bust hit the media that pretty much shut the door on any future events.  There are so many other nuances to this story and sequences of events but I won't bother to go into them because I have a lot of work to do before this evening.  One of the young ladies who works at a major strip club a few blocks from my apt is also working at the local bar about 2 blocks from my apt.   It's her birthday so everyone in the neighborhood is going to stop by and help her celebrate.  I'm bringing her a special "gift".  Now let's see if the PoPo decides to raid us - or not. ;-).

She might of been good once. Then she turned into a stinking thief. I once hired her to do a custom, n the low class bitch took my money, n put it off, n off. Then she quit replying, n later had more B.S. She never returned, or did the match.  So in my book, she's a low class slut.
