Rin, I respectfully disagree with you as to the percentage of guys who get sexually aroused by watching women fight, although it might depend on the generation of the guy who is watching.  I think the percentage of old timers who are aroused is higher than younger guys.

Guys like me, old geezers who are baby boomers grew up watching women and girls fight differently than they seem to do today.  Back in the "good ole days," the fights you would see on tv, in the movies, or even in real life were catfights; girls pulling hair, kicking, biting, scratching, and rolling over each other on the ground.  Very rarely did clothing ever get torn to the point of seeing bare breasts or exposed panties, but the thought that you might get to see it added to the excitement factor.  It was and still is a huge turn on for me, and yes, sexually arousing.  I honestly can't explain why I am excited by seeing girls fight, but I am.  Perhaps I would be a good research subject for some PhD psychologist candidate working on their doctorate.  Any takers?

Nowadays, girls fight more like men.  When girls do fight, they punch and if they start to pull hair, the crowd yells at them to stop it.  If they fall to the ground, some nitwit in the crowd inevitably pulls them apart, so they can stand up and start again.  This type of girl fight is not a real turn on for me, but it seems it is what guys of the younger generation want to see.  This is what I mean when I say I think it might depend on the age of the guys as to whether it's a sexual turn on or not.

As for the demise of catfight production companies, I think a major factor in the disappearance of some of them is the fact that anyone wanting to see a catfight nowadays only has to look at youtube, and other social media sites.  It's free as long as people continue to post them.  So why pay to see something you can see for nothing?  I'm not justifying it, I'm just saying I think it's a major factor.  If guys like to  see two models rip off each other's clothes, and watch them roll around on the ground topless, then the production companies that produce that kind of stuff will always have a place in the market.  But for outfits like Crystal that produced actual fights between women, I think the fact that almost everyone on earth has a phone, and records fights as they happen, and posts them online, is a major reason they are no longer around.

Totally agree with wasteland. Young people are today excited by the fight itself. They look for violence. We belonging to the previous generation are more into the sexuality of a catfight, then we look for a feminine approach to the fighting, appreciating slaps, mauling and hairpulling, of course.

Years ago, there was a talk show hosted by Sally Jessy Rafael.  That was way back when mud wrestling came into popularity.  She hosted a segment about girl fights, and why men liked them so much.  I remember seeing an interview with a female psychologist on the subject, and it might have been on that talk show segment.  I really can't remember, but I distinctly remember something the psychologist said.  When asked why men enjoyed seeing women fight, she said that in some instances, the close contact between the women is like watching women having sex.  She said she believed that is what men found so erotic.  I never had given it much thought, but she might have had a point.

And Rin, I do agree with you that the percentage of men overall who get aroused watching women fight is probably small.  But I think it might be higher than a lot of people might think.  It's not a subject that people discuss openly, and the exact figure may never be known.  Thank you for your kind reply to my earlier remarks.

Well that goes back to the famous Seinfeld quote (probably written by Larry David):

Elaine: What is so appealing to men about a cat fight?
Kramer: Yeah, yeah, cat fight!
Jerry: Because men think if women are grabbing and clawing at each other there's a chance they might somehow kiss.

With that said, and to beat a point to death I repeat that there is a difference between being entertained by a fight and being sexually aroused by one. Plenty of the former, not so many of the latter.

I'm guessing 20% of men are jerk-off level turned on.  12% for eroticism - they might kiss, facesitting, trib, or some other sexual feature.  8% for the domination/humiliation, sadism, violence.  Just guessing relative to my discussions with guys online.

I partially disagree with the psychologist, because I was attracted and excited by women fighting since I was 6, and had no idea about sex yet. What I know for sure is that at that time I loved any form of confrontation between women. I remember that, when I was 6, my cousin caught me touching my penis while whatching at a tv show, where two twin dancers were mimicking a catfight. For this reason what I look for in two opponents is their similarity, and always I prefer even fights ending in a draw.

I'm also into the old fashioned catfights where two women are pulling hair and end up rolling on the floor with their legs wrapped tight around the other's legs. I wouldn't want the women to get hurt but have the fight end when one woman is too tired to continue.
Whenever I see a woman dressed in a dress/skirt and pantyhose I think of them getting into a fight. For me I realized I have a nylon and a woman on woman fetish.
The fights they show now a days are mostly martial arts and it doesn't interest me as much as the fights from years ago. We are on this forum for a reason and to each their own and there is nothing wrong with that. This is something that we really don't discuss with other people. Our significant other may know, my wife does, so it's hard to give a percentage. A question to ask is how many women enjoy watching and or participate in fighting another woman.

I saw a similar interview with a female psychologist years ago too. It might have even been the same one. I remember how she was so right, and so wrong at the same time. She may have been right for the bulk of men.

As for me though she had it completely ass-backwards. In my case rather than hoping a catfight will lead to sex I hope that sex will lead to a catfight. I do love to watch two girls make out, but it is only the second sexiest show on earth for me.

If offered 10 fantasies of my choosing I would have 10 hairpulling rolling catfights. If 100 then 100 catfights it is. If 1,000 then I might ask two girls to make love, not war. Once. Conditions below.

1.   I really do mean might!!
2.   More likely if I thought it could end in a catfight.
3.   The sex part would be first so I could keep the rest for catfights for later.

(A guy here) I am so turned on by a catfight that I practically will jerk off to it. However, I am not a fan of the women's UFC/MMA and think it's too violent.

I have to imagine its a low percentage of men that want to ‘get off’ on the idea of a catfight.

Another interesting thing to consider is that most replies around this site show people describing they like the ‘old fashioned’ style of a rolling catfight and such. Modern style movies have left most of that behind for quite some time. I have to imagine the younger generations could have a lower interest in some of this.

I easily could be wrong. Just what I’m thinking

Lots of interesting opinions here.  I would say most guys are turned on or at least titillated by catfights.  Thus the strong presence in various action movies, wrestling venues, etc.  But we are guys... lots of stuff turns most of us on.  For the old geezers we didn't have a lot of options.  Pretty much the only thing that was "mainstream" that we could access was the old Wrestling Reviews, a couple movies, and that was about it.  But at that time, it was actually pretty racey stuff.  Even then, with the choice to pick up a Penthouse, Playboy, or Wrestling Review probably 99% or going for the porn.  I think the subject probably peaked in the 80's with Foxy Boxing, Messy Wrestling, etc.  I think that was probably because it was about the sexiest thing you could see in more places.  Now... strip clubs are everywhere and pretty much everybody has instant access to any kind of porn you can imagine anytime you want.  Our interest is relatively tame in this culture.  We are probably in that same realm where 1% of guys are seaking it out as demonstrated by the failed video companies and web sites focused on women's combat.  But at the same time if we see any two women fighting, 99% of us are probably going to watch and at least 75% are turned on by it instantly or later.
I love catfights and chatting.  Look me up on trillian at ljack66   (I think... just figuring Trillian out)

Quite honestly, when I was young, I thought I was in a small minority of guys who loved a physical battle between two girls. I'm in my sixties now and have been turned on by catfights since before puberty. I certainly didn't dare talk about it back then. The arousal I feel watching girls fight is as strong today as back in my younger years. Obviously, in the 70's when wrestling magazines like Sports Review Wrestling and Wrestling Revue would feature girl fights in apartments or in the ring, it's because there was a market for it, and both these magazines contained ads on how to get more girl-fight material. So, I knew I wasn't alone. The dawn of the internet has proven that there are lots of guys that are turned on by this. What's the percentage? It's hard to say as I never discuss it out in the open.
The more important question, I think, is the level of intensity. Some guys enjoy watching girl fights not necessarily as a first choice, but  more like a side project, while others, like myself, consider it  the primary source of sexual gratification. I am sometimes totally consumed by catfights. The percentage of guys who can claim this as their number one source of sexual excitation is probably low.

Today, I still love the fantasy of the catfight I had growing up. It's always two gorgeous busty girls fighting topless (Goldie Blair type girls), wearing nothing but either a bikini bottom or short shorts, and high heels that stay on throughout the fight (nothing sexier for me than beautiful legs in heels). The fight always ends with a winner and several victory poses from different angles and positions. I don't care for sexfights, it's catfights that arouse me, the physical struggle for supremacy between two beautiful girls. I will add that I prefer staged fights (with realistic acting) knowing that nobody really gets hurt. Part of the fantasy of a good staged fight is that it doesn't look staged.

It seems like catfights are a unique fetish online with a relatively small following. Personally I don’t see how any guy isn’t turned on by this. However I have long thought that the reason why is many just don’t know about catfight producers. In the 80’s female mud wrestling because super popular and mainstream where it was regularly done at clubs. Anytime there is a female fight in public from what I’ve seen guys are drooling over it. Same for wwe, became popular fast. So I think there was more exposure for the industry it would be as popular as say lesbian fetishizes.  Anyone else agree?

I believe it's definitely more than half. However not all are turned by the same type of match. Some like more competitive others one-sided. Some it depends on the physical characteristics of the women, age difference and other factors. Level of violence is another. Personally I prefer one sided matches where a younger fit woman dominates a busty more mature woman in a clean wrestling match.

Jessie, by your stats I qualify for two categories which I think the numbers are higher in the jerk off and since we have chatted you know what I like  :)

But, I do think the numbers should be higher in the violence and sadistic part. Most guys won’t admit this area of wanting to see the violence and sadistic side but, they love that also unless they like slap and tickle fights. That’s fine  I just like the realism and nasty moves in fights
The Fun of Fighting is devilishly exciting

We're close to the same age and like you, I can trace this back before puberty. I saw a woman's wrestling match on TV and a brunette was giving it to blonde pretty good. I felt myself getting excited watching the one woman throw the other one around the ring.

I thought I was alone in this but like you said once Sports Review Wrestling came out with the apartment matches it was obvious other guys got turned on by it.

I agree with you that most guys probably get turned on by this as a side thing.

For me it is also the primary source of sexual gratification.
