There’s a different culture in USA to other places in regards to how much things cost, Americans wouldn’t bat an eyelid at paying $80 plus for a big boxing or ufc fight.

In the U.K. there was always a cap of 14.99 no matter what the fight was, it caused an arguement between U.K. broadcasters and the actual boxing organisation when they wanted to change stupid money for mcgregor vs mayweather and ended up being able to charge 24.99 so everyone boycotted the fight and the numbers they got were awful.

Baring this in mind, the numbers thrown around for amateur catfight videos sound absolutely ridiculous to most people outside the USA
Honestly IDK what $100 sponsorships that person's talking about. The most for sponsorships until the company came about that you mentioned at the beginning of the thread was $50. Suitfights, Tilly, Catzreview, sexyhusband, Gia Love, lyric lane, webringit, EVERYONE has kept their sponsorships (keep in mind most producers don't even ask for sponsorships) to $50 max and that includes perks and or early access! I think he may be confusing sponsorship with custom films ??? If he/she is paying $100 to sponsor these videos then he/she is doing that of his own free will or is an insider none of these producers are asking us to do that publicly so that's his/her decision. So these producers should do just fine once the $100 secret society club stops sponsoring. I'd like to think a majority of the people in the US aren't thirsty enough to start regularly handing out $100 bills to producers for anything under an hour. TBH  I think the majority wouldn't shill out $100 for anything over 60 minutes for that matter. Again WHY? When nearly every producers keeps their prices between 15 and $50 ::)

I like the way it says "SAVE $40 UNTIL DECEMBER 31st, then normal price $140.99"

Antscha Vs Dragonlily      I paid Antscha travel cost and shoot fees for their match in Vegas and price was over $1000, if I didn't sponsor the match it would not have happened.  Mistress Alexis Kim Vs Abby Marie, this was Alexis first match and would get her into Catfighting world, this match was about $1000 for both models and shoot fees.  I can go on naming many other videos that would not have happened without someone like me that is willing to pay more the $10-15 for videos.
Your talking about matches that are already booked and would have been filmed with or without your sponsorship. Is there not any match-up you have really wanted to see and would be willing to pay the travel and shoot cost to see it filmed and make it happen?

That's what I was guessing, we're not really talking about the same things. For the matches that you named I completely understand paying that much for what it took to organize them, now would I have done that?... HELL NO!... I'm not swimming in doe like that  ;D BUT in scenarios like that again I can understand that it would be expensive. If I could put together a card with Jess vs Mira and Mila vs Sarah Brooke I'd pay an arm and a leg IF I had the money but those would be matches completely thought of and funded by me once the fights were recorded and distributed I wouldn't ask for everybody else to pay $100 just because I spent my money to produce a high price fight knowing the going price range for 98% of the catfights available for purchase are significantly lower than that. That would be a gamble.

I fill up my gas tank for $50 so why not pay $100 for see women place their bodies on the line for me to enjoy them fight? These girls risk injury in real combat so I don't think it's to must to ask for $100, that is cheaper then going out for a dinner date.

That's where we are going to have to agree to disagree. I understand the expensive cost to produce a fight especially if it's something that you want to see happen but once it's out there for distribution no way, $100 is extremely high. Making your money back is a marathon not a Sprint there's no way you should expect to quickly make a turn around off of a video that you requested to be made like I said it's a Gamble. What that company is doing has been tried numerous times and has always failed for example back in the '90s with the video game market you had Nintendo you had Sega Super Nintendo etc and then you had Neo Geo coming over here trying to demand a $500 price tag when every other gaming system was between 150 and $200 and what do you know the Neo Geo flopped hard along with all the other consoles that tried to hike up sales prices when the going price for very popular systems was significantly lower. Then like was mentioned before the  company in question  has the nerve to say that the video is on sale at $100?... WTF :o

I would not pay $100 for most catfight videos, but would pay more then $100 if DWW would come back and Luzia filmed a new Catfight or if ECNWC would shoot another video!
Also,  I never make my money back from custom matches I book as I don't sell the videos, It's not about the money for me as I'm a fan and not doing this for profit but love of the sport.
Are you still walking around with a flip phone or did you pay the money and get a smart phone? You get what you pay for, yes most videos are now around $20, but also most videos are trash with only a few great videos being released a year. DWW would drop a great match very month.
Have you seen any of the Girl Fight Club videos?  They are not my cup of tea, but can say it is closest thing you will find to a real street fight on film.  They are like Felony Fights.  The fighters end up with black eyes and bloodied.  Not to mush to ask $100 for a all out fight with risk of real injury to the fighters.

I think the 90s to mid 00s was the golden era and we'll never see anything like that again. I've given fightingdolls and fightpulse a try and the girls are skilled and do their best, but it's not DWW and nothing will ever be quite like that. There was just something unique about DWW, especially when they had their international tournaments.

Forget shooting another video, I would pay anything to get a hold of the unreleased videos by ECNWC.

I'd say todays girls are more well trained with DWW girls having to get BJJ skills like Antscha to have a chance in Europe or USA today.  The 90's had better looking fighters and tons more small companies that had different local talent.  Fighting-dolls has the sexy fighters but lack the edge that DWW had with the Budapest girls, BSA girls and fighters from round Europe.

Folks, let's get some perspective. The primary reason for the high cost is because this is a niche fight.
In most catfights, biting is prohibited. In this catfight, biting is allowed and even encouraged.

The concept is not all that unusual. Think celebrity boxing...the reason people pay the high cost is not because they are going to see expert boxing.
They pay because it's is a niche fight - one that is highly unusual and entertaining.

Rather than excoriate the producer, I find it interesting they had the motivation to produce such a curious catfight.
And if you have no interest in this unusual fight, or find the cost too exorbitant, then you don't have to buy it.

I was thinking of bringing this up to the FCF community a while ago as this isn't the first time they've done this. In my opinion NO SINGLE CATFIGHT is worth $100...

Everyone that is complaining about the $100, I bet it would take me 10 minutes to see their finances or material purchases and find where they wasted about $100 on things they didn't really need or a brand that is all marketing etc. lol or even tax breaks they aren't using that would save them $100 etc.

I've posted this reply before but somehow it is disappeared into the ether so here it is again...

This company has posted many videos with the same content that I myself own and they have not been this pricey. They tend to dabble with spiking their prices for instance they have some videos that are like 10 minutes long for close to 30 bucks I consider that a bit expensive for the content that you're getting but I respect the fact that they post content like no other so I made the sacrifice and purchase the video. Little did I know that they just seem to be testing the waters for something like this $100 tag. I've bought videos from other companies with roughly the same content and they were still priced accordingly. And yes everybody splurges and buys things they don't need or try to cut corners on prices but at the same time normal people do it within reason. I've bought things on a whim but if the thing that I'm purchasing is $100 more than what the market has listed as I'm not going to buy it. Here's an example... a few years ago they were making the NES mini video game system and  it's sold in stores for about... 80 bucks (?) then they ran out and scalpers were selling them online for like $400!!! ... and people still bought them?! I'm not poor, and I'm not cheap but I'm also not desperate. If you want to spend hundreds of dollars on your own personal custom video then I 100% agree with that there's nothing wrong with it BUT... again if you want to release a video out to the public and bump up the price way above what the norm is that's where I have a problem.

For the life of me, I can't understand the purpose of this comment.  What are you trying to accomplish with it?

Since I started this thread, I'll just remind everyone that I just found it funny that the cost was $100......... AND 99 CENTS.

Don't ask me what the point of my comment is, lol, I didn't start the conversation of $100 is too much, many others did and I was responding to their comments, ask them why they ignored your "and 99 cents", it wasn't me, I didn't venture off track, I just followed the flow. :)

Hello, fans, (now with Google-translation GER>US/GB)
I read with great interest that I am not the only one who has felt asked to think about the current US $ 100 offer. I read the accompanying text twice and also looked at the preview twice. Then I was sure, at this price - no. If the content were what I would most like to see, I would also consider 100 $ as a special offer and would like to pay.
So the hope remains that they will have enough interested and willing customers to be able to (continue) offering what they know that the majority is waiting for in the future through the income - not only because it is at the usual costs every minute for real fight time will be available.
With regards to all,
FrankWo.
