Girl Fight Club
« on: July 02, 2021, 09:21:29 PM »

This is pretty funny.  There is a Girl Fight Club video that they are selling for the low low price of $100.99!

Now, I'm going tell you something guys.  I'll pay 100 bucks for a video, but NOT ONE PENNY MORE!   I'm not buying it!

Well Hammer, Marketing101 teaches that if you want to sell a widget for $100 you charge $99.99.  $100.99 is pretty darn funny.

I was thinking of bringing this up to the FCF community a while ago as this isn't the first time they've done this. In my opinion NO SINGLE CATFIGHT is worth $100 I don't give a f**k who's involved especially since the video is only 23 min. The sad thing is as at one point the video actually cracked the top 10 on C4S (in the female fight category). This is disturbing because producers may start getting ideas to start grossly overpricing their videos on the norm and potentially kill the business by driving up prices.

Well I'm not spending 100 bucks on a video either, but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't charge that much.  Free market, supply and demand.  If they can make a profit at $100/per, well good for them.

Actually, to be honest, if they offered a money back guarantee if the video sucked I might consider something well out of the normal price range. But we know that ain't gonna happen.

We should just thank our lucky stars that we have SuiteFights: attractive, topless women, fighting for real, with tremendous production values at a very fair price.  Can't do better than that.

I guess it's within their right to charge whatever they want but I still think they're taking advantage of people. Me personally even if I could charge $100 for a single catfight I wouldn't do it. Entire professional MMA/wrestling /boxing cards aren't normally $100 and if they are we're talking about a pretty stacked card, this is one 20+ min fight. The hubris of that company is admirable. I've been noticing on C4S some newer producers are starting to slowly inch up their prices. For a fight lasting around 20-25 minutes the normal asking price was usually $15.99 - $25.99 now they're starting to creep up to the mid 30s. Greed is real and I fear this WILL get out of hand to where the new norm will be fights starting at $50 regardless of length or quality. We the consumer still hold the power if we say no to these high prices NOW then they'll stop charging them and we can keep things under control.

Wow, you guys are spoiled, I remember back in the old VHS video tape days of the 80-90's  it was common to see videos listed for $60-$100.   I order custom videos so can pay $1000 for a video.

Yeah that was back in the day. Before the days of video rentals most VHS normally were about $60-$100. I would expect a custom order to be expensive, I don't have a problem with that. Also in the early 90s apartment wrestling and catfight videos weren't readily available and even more taboo than now. Starting in the late 90s till now with the internet there's definitely no excuse, there's tons of options.

You also don't see as many Porn Stars and Models shooting matches like back in 80-90's LA , the producers would pay the big booking fees because of the price they could charge for video back then.  Also, Video Rental had no part in video prices dropping for catfight videos as there was only one site that rented catfight videos and there chose of videos was not the best as many where scripted 70-80's matches.
If you think the current market is great your crazy, we get about 2 or 3 great matches released a years now, back in the 90's 2 or 3 great matches where released a month. I'd gladly pay the $60-$100 to go back to the days of there being hundreds of wrestlers and catfighters world wide and enough money for 10 times the videos being filmed as we see today.

Well my memory must be playing tricks on me because as I remember it,  the only real fights you could ever buy were from Crystal and then a bit later Video Sports Limited.  If you want to call Academy real fights, you are going to have to stretch the truth a bit.

Bellstone/Cal Supreme/Joan Wise/ Curtis Dupont/ California Wildcats/ Triumph were all fake as shit.

I 100% agree with you. I don't recall any real fights taking place back in the day especially due to the fact that the majority of the catfight scene was built using adult stars and fetish models they ABSOLUTELY weren't getting down like that back then lol! Crystal films was the only REAL CATFIGHT providers out (I'm not including competitive real wrestling like Joan, Cal Sup, etc) and most of their real fights took place in the mid-late 90s and multiple fights would be featured on a VHS. Again $60-$100 for a tape clocking in at 60+ minutes with multiple fights is reasonable one 20-25 min fight for $100 is BS.

I stopped buying videos when people started wanted 50 for them. Might sound cheap but I even think that 50 is an outrageous price and the reason why there are so many people trading videos.

I have bought suitefights matches because I’ve always found his prices reasonable. I sponsored a few of his fights for $30, which at the time was around £22. One of which ended up being the double dose of Mira so even got 2 fights for that price. Very very good value.

Santana, Jasea, Robin,  Candi and the other LA stars did start with scripted matches in the early days, but ended up shooting real competitive matches. You also forget Europe with DWW and Festelle. Also early East Coast Cats, ECNWC and small producers no longer around like Catfight Angles, Fighting Wildcats, VallyCats, and Homemade Catfights out of TX.
Suite fight is good, but only comes out with 2 matches a year.  TillyTown has a few good matches but most of their videos are scripted. FoxyCombat gets blown out of the water by DWW.
You have 1 fighter Alexa Brooke that has filmed most of the good Catfights over the past 2 years, that is not good as she was close to retirement this year.
As for everyone who says no Catfight is worth $100, I'd just remind you that fans like me that sponsor Catfights for far more than $100 are the reason most modern Catfights are filmed.  We 45+ y/o fans that sponsor the money to make these great matches are starting to die out.  Good luck in the future with new Gen that don't even want to spend $15 and want all the videos to be free!

There’s a different culture in USA to other places in regards to how much things cost, Americans wouldn’t bat an eyelid at paying $80 plus for a big boxing or ufc fight.

In the U.K. there was always a cap of 14.99 no matter what the fight was, it caused an arguement between U.K. broadcasters and the actual boxing organisation when they wanted to change stupid money for mcgregor vs mayweather and ended up being able to charge 24.99 so everyone boycotted the fight and the numbers they got were awful.

Baring this in mind, the numbers thrown around for amateur catfight videos sound absolutely ridiculous to most people outside the USA
