So ladies ... trusting having 2 of you, give it a mention.
BTW ANYONE ever see other movie with Viggo Mortenson in it.
History of Violence??   Interested in it, yet never seen it yet.
He is kind of like a Jimmy Stewart or Harrison Ford actor. Seems to have his own charisma about him.  That helps, films he is part of.

aside from the obvious like lord of the rings, you may want to try Eastern Promises.

PAULINE ...

Here is the plan ... plug hubby into LONG war movies like Longest Day and Saving private Ryan..
THEN you sneak upstairs to have a Viggo Mortenson marathon!!   ;D  Sounds like Mary knows what she is talking about!!   ;)

Pete .. Beverly Hills Cop .. Eddie Murphy at his best!!  That and who has NOT thought how cool. It may be to just drive a semi, through parked cars like that??

OK  myself, going to let the holiday crowd dwindle first.. YET anyone happen to see the Hobbit this weekend?? Any feedback.

Know it is a long one.. so MAY need to stock some extra snacks heading in!!

If not put in before..
ADD Volcano; With Tommy lee jones to the list.  Parts of it MAY look unreal. To folks like Pauline's hubby!! (Had a few moments that myself.) Yet over all just a interesting, not the norm special effects thrill ride. With a good and talented cast.

A Christmas Carol starring Jim Carrey by Disney.  Just warms my heart with Christmas joy.

HAVE got to admit.. THAT one totally surprised me. I figured at times, for it to be some of Carey's goofy/ over the top comedy style.
Yet they obviously tried doing it VERY true to Dickens writing.
When they started out, his Scrooge taking the coins from Marley's eyes. I knew this was not going to be the wacky laugh fest I thought it would be.

Lexi Little Drummer boy a great add ...  Being honest.. Love almost all those old Rankin Bass holiday ones ...
BTW did you know, they did do a sequal to Little Drummer boy??  It is part of a Dvd collection now.
Think maybe with Leprachauns Christmas Gold ... 2 others.

Nestor the long eared donkey/ Santa Clause is coming to town/ Year with out a santa clause.. those wacky miser brothers!! / Life and adventures of Santa Clause
Among them..  Anyone else.. think some of these. A must during holiday time??

My husband looks forward to the annual screening of The Great Escape and sulks if they don't show it! I have been driving him nuts as every time he comes home I leave the Christmas film chanel on so that he walks into happy smiling kids and images of Santa!

"Bah! Humbug!"

Pauline .. you kow that kind of attitude. We may have to get Burgermeister Meisterburger after you!!  He he he...  Anyone know where that is from??

Lexi .. what can I say. To some maybe they are not movies. YET as a kid growing up.. They were just as entertaining, and seemed as long. As any other movies. (Course in part due to a butt load of commercials.. LOL)
I did say animated movies ok ..... So if we can have Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and disney movies here. Why not the animated short holiday classics??

Speaking of disney and classics ...  Historical one.. Johhny Tremain .. Nice take on the early revolutionary war.. era. Kind of styles of life, and pre war ideals, and how things began.

'The Fearless Vampire Killers' is probably the one movie I've seen most often.
Every excess is fine as long as you don't overdo it.
